Hi guys what water ratio would you recommend for CWE on 15-20 15mg/500mg co codamol. Newbie here and I have been searching threads. Whilst I've found loads of good techniques for CWE for me to try, I attempted his first one but used 250ml of cold (from freezer) water. Realising paracetamol solubility is lowered I would like to tell you the right amount for this many pills. Also this is my breakdown of first extraction:

I have just attempted a first CWE of codeine 15mg - paracetamol 500mg. I used 6 co-codamol capsules to yield 90mg codeine, which I can attest - makes the whole enterprise much easier especially for a first attempt. After cooling water 250ml in the freezer I added the powder that was obtained from the capsules and added to the water. There was a little bit of clumping however this dissipated after a little stirring and quite quickly the powder collected at the bottom of the glass. It was obvious to me that the paracetamol was of a very similar amount as was first recovered from the capsules which gave me much confidence that this method would yield good results.
As I had no coffee filters so I first used kitchen roll and emptied out teabags as his filtration system - BIG MISTAKE. I found that the absorption of the kitchen roll meant that lots of the liquid was running up and over the edge of the glass. I changed tactics and perforated greaseproof paper and used the same method of teabag and to my joy the liquid was filtered very quickly. I would like to note that after first extraction there was lots of paracetamol precipitate left over, concluding that the extraction had been quite successful. To be safe I placed the extraction back into the freezer and waited for fifteen more minutes to start the process again. To note, there was a very clear liquid which was only lightly cloudy, however after watching extraction videos online I found the results to be comparable and in some cases better.
Although I have used codeine in the past, I felt that for a first attempt at extraction it would be beneficial to be cautious, hence opting for a dosage of 90mg give or take for loss during filtration. Once I feel more comfortable in this process I will up the dosage. In fairness this low dose was to limit the paracetamol intake just in case I had not been as good as thought.
Admittedly this is a first for me, I would much rather be administered a dosage after watching another person go through the process, however after reading extensively other posts, I concluded that this technique is near idiot-proof.
