Opioids CWE question

I was just wondering if your opiates will somehow go bad or have a reduced potency if you do a CWE and then let it sit in the water for extended periods of time. And if so what kind of time period would this be? I'm pretty clueless about chemistry lol so I have no clue...
 
yeah, cwe will go funky pretty quickly if you don't consume it or put something in it that will prevent things growing (such as alcohol).
best to make what you need and consume it - the solution won't keep longer than a day or two IME.
