CWE on a CWE?

So I have enough tablets in my CWE that equals 600mg of codeine. I was curious, but can you perform ANOTHER CWE on the same sludge that came out of the first CWE? I figured the coffee filter bag is still wet after my first CWE and there's still water in it. So could I put that sludge in another coffee filter and try to get more codeine out of it? If possible, how much do you think I'd yield second timer 'round?

The codeine is super soluble in cold water...

You got all of it in the first one...

As Jay says... if you've done it right the first time, there's nothing to be gained from doing it again.

I would only try it again if your method for the first extraction was bad.

Otherwise it'll be like getting blood from a rock.

In my experience it depends on how much water was used. The more you used the less will be left behind in the leftover moisture due to lower concentration of mg/ml

You can try again and give it a sip, if it tastes rather bitter, your time was not wasted and you gget some extra codiene our of it. If it tastes like dirty water but not really bitter, you got most of it in the first one
