doing CWE method on (15) 5/325 Norco's. Why is the liquid orangish in color? The pills had small red dots all over them, that have something to do with it? And WTF is with those red dots all over the pills?

Some brands have small colored dots across them. The reason why your CWE has a color to it is because the dye from the coloring likely was water soluble and made it through the filter. Is your solution transparent or cloudy? If it's cloudy, then filter more.

Yeah it was f*cken weird when I first saw the pills. Never in my life have I seen red dye in pills like that, freakin' weird man.

The solution was for the most part clear, but I didnt want to wait another hour to refilter. A little APAP won't kill a guy. Most all was filted out as there was TONS of white powder on the filter left over.

Thanks for your replies, I was just looking for a conformation. :)

I'm closing this since this has been answered and the OP is satisfied since he got the confirmations he was seeking.
So just to reiterate it, the orange color in the CWE solution was just from the red dye in the pills (which can be seen in the link two posts up).

Closed.
