I don't understand why drug dealers/lords cut their drugs so much (cocaine, heroin, etc.) when they could sell pure/almost pure product for more money and get just as much if not more money than they make when they cut. Are there any reasons for cutting that justify this action that I'm missing? I know that if people weren't aware that they were getting pure product they could very easily kill themselves but this problem could be solved by dealers instructing the buyers on how much to use and I'm sure there are other ways of keeping the users safe too. If dealers were only selling pure product I am certain that they would get more business. For example, most people hate cocaine because the product they get is cut to shit. After one bad experience with cut cocaine they avoid all blow entirely. If cocaine was guaranteed pure I'm sure that most people who usually don't purchase and don't enjoy cocaine because of undesired effects (usually because of the cuts) would buy it more frequently and it just might become one of their favorite drugs. Unfortunately, this is not the case and most/all cocaine is heavily cut and therefore the product and the high it produces usually aren't worth purchasing. If heroin was sold in a pure form it might be less dangerous when IVing and less would be required to safely get a person high. I'm just asking for other people's opinions on the matter and maybe even some info in favor of cutting substances because I personally haven't been able to find any.
