Cutting phase

definitely. that's about where I am at.

oh, also probably should have mentioned I'm on creatine. thoughts on that?

OP should bulk.

To get a real 6-pack, he would want to be at about 8%, Going from 15% @ 185, when you count the water loss, that would amount to dropping about 20 lbs. Do you really want to be 6'1", 165, even if you do end up ripped?

Here's my opinion on creatine from my years of experience with every form and ester of the product....

Whenever I take monohydrate I tend to get extremely bloated..The only way to get rid of the bloat is to consume a gallon of water a day and flush all of that shit out....I even hit up the steamrooom and sauna once or twice a week or when I'm feeling especially "puffy"...

You don't need to drop the creatine but up your water intake..also, you don't need a bulk to get a 6 pack...you'll get it, if you want it..You look like I did 1 year ago..I'd be limiting my diet to chicken, tuna and other types of fish, broccoli, potatoes, and oats...no sugary drinks, no alcohol, and since it's Bluelight and we all love our drugs...Maybe some amphetamine salts to kick up the process..it used to work for me, although it depletes the shit out of your glycogen stores.

for the most part, stimulants don't seem to agree with me, so that's not going to work. my diet sounds about where that is too. I don't do the tuna because there's shitloads of salt in it though. and i eat boatloads of spinach. and the occasional pork chops on the bbq.

i can't imagine drinking more water than I already do either. I'm getting at least a gallon a day.

week one report:

I started this way too fucking early. I have lost 8 lbs as a result of 4 hardcore cardio thrashings, gallons of water and restricted caloric intake. now idk what to do. is there any point to going back to bulking for like a coupe of weeks and then cutting again?

what is the exact "shirtless" date? Post a recent picture..it will make this a lot easier...There's no reason to bulk again...bulking and cutting should be 12 week intervals IMO

shirtless date = august 28, but I lose access to a gym on august 19.

Dont jump back and forth between bulking and cutting too quickly, or you will get nowhere.
Since you've already started cutting, just stick with it.

BTW, why so much cardio? You've only got, like 15lbs to lose. Maybe it would be better to cut back a few calories, and keep hitting the weights.

thanks guys, I figured as much. Honestly, I'd rather keep the cardio and just eat more. and *gasp* maybe even have a beer now and then.

this isn't really a reason as to why I am doing so much cardio, but I am the kind of person that when I decide to do something I go pretty full on. I could ease up a bit, but I am actually still managing to hitting the weights pretty hard after my cardio sessions.

You still got a ways to go...i'm serious about the cardio in the AM in a fasted state...also no starchy carbs after 5pm

oh, I'm not denying that. but if I lose 8 lbs a week for 6 weeks...

8 pounds of FAT in a week is impossible...You're gonna lose water weight and muscle..lots of muscle...real fat loss is a slow process and then at the end you can cut the water and sodium out

oh, I'm not denying that. but if I lose 8 lbs a week for 6 weeks...

lol, that 8 lbs could probably be broken down like this:

- 3 lbs, not having as much food in your stomach

- 4 lbs, water

- .9 lbs fat

- .1 lbs, lean tissue.

In another week or two, you should settle to a point where you're losing 1-2 lbs / week.
