Curves or barbie dolls

kittyinthedark is really right about what she said.

When most women gain weight, their weight goes to their ass/hips, so it doesn't look too bad.

When I gain weight, it goes immediately to my stomach first (yes, like a guy's lol). That's why I can't ever let myself exceed 110 pounds, it starts looking like I'm pregnant. I would say that my body looked best between 100-105lbs.

^^ I don't think i've weighed that little since i was a teen :p Would love my 14 year body back but i'm nearly 30 now so don't see it happening anytime soon lol Have been loosing weight recently though so hopefully i'll get back to 'curvy' soon rather then just being 'fat' Takes so god damn long though! Gah!

women are supposed to have hips... it's how babies get out. guys attracted to women without hips might want to question their sexuality :P

Ahh... fuck. you.

I'm a woman, I'm a size eight, I do not have 'child bearing hips', I do not have great pendulous boobs, and my arse is small and round. Yet, and heres the surprise, I am beautiful.

There are many types of beautiful, some like me are lith and thin and agile, some like the girls you daydream about are squishy and curvy and round. Both are hot. Both are feminine.

By the same token as you judge those that find me attractive, should I question the sexuality of younge ladies who prefere a guy with a little covering and a hot arse? Lesbians maybe?

The overall size of a womans hips are not an indication of the ease with which she may bear children, plenty of 'big hipped' women have little room within their hip bones to pass their baby, and plenty of narrow hipped lasses have short easy births. Your grasp of biology is infantile.

to me, a muscular body looks better than a thin body or a curvy body

id rather have a fitness model body anyday over a thin model body or curvy figure

That's not to say curvy women aren't agile, either... (i know, i'm nit-picking.. mea culpa) ;)

That also goes with being flexible etc too. Not limited to smaller body types :) I'm nit-picking too ;) hehe

i like curvy slim figures, if that makes sense? um, for example... girls who have figures like jessica alba, or the lead singer of the pussy cat dolls, or jennifer aniston. so slim and fit, but still with some curves.

^^^ I think it's interesting. I also think it places too much emphasis on what the media dictates, insomuch as the author seems to suggest that popular culture is the ultimate dictator of what happens in real life, and I think that the notion that all women worship at the altar of Vogue, et al is highly offensive in itself and insults my intelligence and that of all women.

I'm very small, around 5'3 and 98lbs...but what is odd is I still see myself as having weight, despite people telling me I look like I haven't ate. I have a C-cup and rather nice hour glass figure as well.

...Still, when I look at my pants (I wear a size 1-3) and if they are the size 3, I cringe. I honestly don't know why. When I look at pants that are sizes 8 (which is supposed to be the ideal size) I feel physically sick.

I dunno why that is. But, if we were talking about what I would prefer if I was a man, I would so go for the tiny, thin girl. I guess all that weight and extra flesh would just freak me out (no offense!)

Perhaps its due to my modeling contracts. I work with two agencies (one in Chicago and one in New York) and I am terrified of going over a certain size, because then I could possibly lose my contract or not get jobs...but the more I think about it, the more I realize I was like this years ago. I have the runway build (as many agents told me) and despite the fact I know I will never see the runway at my height, unless I am doing a Petite show, I still strive to keep that size...because in the back of my mind, I want the runway

^^ You really don't know why? You don't think it has anything to do with societies expectations of what female beauty is supposed to be?

i think it depends on the person's body structure when it comes to how lean, muscular and/or chubby they should be to look good. IMO, the ideal body has traits if all 3 types, with the most naturally flattering type dominant.
