Curves or barbie dolls

Man....I WISH I could have curves in the right places. I like my body..but it's one of those sort of androgenous (is that the word) types...like a small rack and hips, thin..not the body of a little girl but it often seems more girlish than womanly...the thing is, if I gain weight, it goes RIGHT to the waist, and I am this skinny armed and shouldered, skinny legged person with a fat waist. That just doesn't work, so I have to be really thin to look good. BLAH!
I love my body but sometimes I get jealous of those hourglass types.

i hear you. i've got a small rack and pretty small hips (though i do have a butt, that's one thing i have going for me) and like you, i gain all my weight to my tummy and waist. sometimes i just look at girls with *those* hips (yeah, you know what i'm talking about)... man that's hot. i dunno, they're nice to look at. but really, when i think about it, i am very happy with my body and wouldn't trade it for anything (even my tiny tits).

personally i think everyone is sexy, as long as they feel good about themselves and are healthy. I didnt mean to make anyone feel insecure about themselves, i was just wondering- it made me feel bad reading that magazine. I think being petite is so cute and sexy, this girl i always see shes so petite but has the booty, and i just want to hug her and tell her how cute she is, but i figure she already knows that. :)

i'm up there with mynameisnotdeja and ibizakat...small hips and rack. i wish i was a bit curvier and that the weight that i gain goes to up there or down there, but it goes straight to my tummy :\

i used to have a problem with eating, i actually still do, but i'm tryin to get myself to eating healthier. now that i do eat considerably better than before, i feel much better about my body. i also have a very special someone that tells me i'm beautiful and that he thinks that i'm sexy :) this has boosted my confidence a lot too and every now and then, i start thinkin, "hey, i am pretty" <3

Curves are beautiful. A curvy body w/ thickness in all the right places....... *drools*

AHHH! I know what you mean! I feel like a marshmellow with twigs for arms and legs. It fucking sucks only having fat on your stomach. Especially when people are always telling you you are too thin but you can't wear a bikini without rolls of fat. ARGHH! Oh yeah and it is IMPOSSIBLE to find jeans that fit.

i'd definitely say i like a girl with a curvy body

my current gf pretty much fits my description of a hot curvy girl..pretty big full breasts even though she has a small waist with a nice round shaped ass which she always is self-conscious cuz she thinks it's too big but i find her body real sexy and feminine...haha sorry if i went into detail there... but if i was choosing a real skinny girl with no ass compared to a voluptuous girl i'd prolly go for the ladder (with exceptions obviously)

some of my friends don't find her nearly as hot as me cuz theyd prefer a slightly skinnier girl (at least they say that) but when i first saw her she was the greatest looking thing i'd ever laid eyes on

i saw pics of you in the gallery, and you sure as hell didnt look androgenous

you were on the skinny side, but you still looked great

to address the main poster, oh yes curves are good, OH YES

i appreciate all women- women are beautiful works of art, but curves make me salivate... it's nice when you're staring (i am a man, i stare) and you realize the booty and hips are making the jeans- not vice versa...

it's like in pulp fiction- "what one finds pleasing to the eye and pleasing to the touch are two different things..." but once you realize what you like to touch, then you start to look for that too...

when trying to think back to where i got my affection for curves, i think it comes from here-
julie.gif

the female lead Julie in a comic book The Maxx I read as a teenager, she's really curvy ~swoon~

it's allright, i'm allowed to bark, it comes with being a man. sometimes though- i prefer to growl... grrrrrrrrr... ;)

ive never really liked skinny girls w/ no curves. i like slim girls w/ curves. but i guess since im skinny that might be y i dont wnat a super skinny gf, bc i hat ebeign skinny most of the time. my current gf i believe can have the best body i have ever seen, she just needs to start workign out and tone her stomach, then omg. drrrooooooooollllllll... im not saying i dont love her body now, but if it was like the way im imagining it i would have to go to the bathroom everytime i thought about her body.;)

Wow, after having read my way through all the pages of this thread I finally get to hit the 'reply' button. ;)

Okay. Well I have to say, having dated and fucked women who have fitted the stereotypes listed, and a few points in between. I have to say that I do prefer girls who are somewhat close to my body type. I don't know whether this is a defense thing, because I'm an EXTREMELY skinny lanky guy and weigh fuckall. But when it comes down to the crunch, on a purely physical level (if such a thing exists) I would go for a girl who's of a slimmer build.

Funnily enough though, real life dictates that there's always a billion and one other factors at play apart from body type. ;)

-plaz out-

yeah, body type isn't the most important thing.. but if i had to make a rule, i'm with plazma.. i'm pretty skinny, 5"11, 155lbs, and find i can be attracted to anyone who weighs the same or less than me.. i like to be able to pick up my partner occasionally, for various reasons, and lifting my own weight is about the maximum i can manage comfortably..

Generally I like bigger boobs, and curvy ladies, but it does matter less than you might think.

I was thinking about this, and I've been surprised several times by my male friends saying "I like to date X, kind of girl"and then actually picking up the exact opposite. One friend that stands out in my memory said, "I like to date short women, nothing taller than 5.3" A couple of weaks later he was dating a girl that stood at 6 foot. Men spend a lot of time talking smack about "what type of women they like." In terms of breast size, height, weight, etc, but it's seems to have little real world bearing.

I've dated all different builds, and found all of them attractive. It really all about how well you suck dick ;) or I mean attitude, yeah attitude.

Just thought i would bump this thread as it's an oldie and things have changed for me recently. Well for one i'm bigger than i was when i srated this thread which sux cos i was quite content with the size i was and now i'm not. and two i'm dating a real tall, slender and small breasted not real curvy gal. I have always said that my asthetic tastes are towards curvier girls and don't find skinny girls a turn on but i do now =D Although i have to say it's still quite intimidating getting naked with her but she seems to like what shes sees/touches so i should really get over my shyness.

The thread title confuses me somewhat . I equate Barbie dolls with "curves" albeit misproportionally but curved nonetheless....i was thinking the title should be Curves vs Sticks lol 8(

I like the lean, muscular look.

It doesn't matter how big they are, mass-wise. As long as they have relatively low body fat, any body, no matter how big or small, can look very good.
