In my opinion, all women have something that makes them sexy, beautiful, etc. My personal preference, however, is a woman with curves. Just something about 'em.

Yeah, I agree with fizzy that barbie is a bad example. Most chicks who are really thin are FLAT too (i.e. me), so both thin/curvy have their disadvantages.

if barbie were real she would fall falt on her face
she is too top heavy to physically stand

but i like curves over bones

I still remember one day, mum was not having a good day in general and a particularly large woman said to her in a bitchy tone "god your thin, it's disgusting, perhaps you should start eating!", and mum simply replied "goodness, you're fat, it's really repulsive, perhaps you should stop eating" and turned on her heal and walked away.

that is great!

I'm all about curvey chicks!!
I think curves and nice size hips give ladies those sexy-ass walks that they have. GRRRRR, curves & hips, and offcourse butts, WOW

im a little size 6-8 chickie 168cm tall
and i weigh 49 kgs
i have little curves, a little ass and decent size breasts
my bones dont stick out
i eat lots of food and am always hungry

and im happy with myself (but maybe a little bit of weight would be nice)
ive never been on a diet in my life and prolly never will be :)

my point is thats its very hard for us skinny girls to put weight on
so it really goes both ways dosent it.

and if a fat chicki decided to pick on me like a week ago when a friend of a friend said uve got no waist i said 'well at least i dont have a big huge ass'
i will say something back cause we get discriminated for our thinness as much as they do for being large

my 2 cents

hmmm...

When I was rowing national level, I was extremely happy with my body. I had good sized boobs, was toned in all the right places and was a size 8 (or a ten in pants coz my legs were too long ;))

Now I'm not so happy- recently I've tried to eat 'healthy' and exercise more to lose the extra kilo's I've put on since I stopped rowing about 2 years ago... I'm just getting frustrated because it isn't working.

Going by the reactions I used to get from guys, they liked me better when I was at my rowing figure. I get a lot less attention nowadays. Don't get me wrong, I'm not looking for a man (I'm quite happy!!) I'm just not happy with the way I am at the moment and reactions from guys certainly back up my own feelings about my body.

(sorry if this went off topic!)

yay plasmo i'm almost the same build as u.
just i'm a few cm shorter and my weight is anything between 45kg and 50kg in a day.
and i dont look like a rake either. ive got hips and boobs (a little =D ) and an ass too. everyone says i'm tiny but i dont feel it. plus i'm pretty pleased with my body, i dont like stick insects that have "issues".

actually, it dont matter how big or small u are, always stressing about ur body is not a good look.

^^^
totally agree. I don't always stress about my body- just indicating that the guys used to approach me more when I was "little".... anyways.

I love my curves- just hate the extra bits ;) but I'll get over it =D

plasmo i have already said that i am aware of the other end of the scale, that its hard for skinny girls to put weight one when they want too :)

This was just an appreciation thread for the 'bigger' gals amongst us =D

I'm glad to see the appreciation though...woot woot hehe

I definitely think that confidence makes anyone more attractive no matter what they look like (in both sexes) and personalities definitely emphasies looks (in my books anyway)

The most 'beautiful' person in the world turns ugly in my viewjust with a nasty snarl on their face or a horrible attitude

And maybe barbie wasnt the best example but iwasn;t meaning literally as in size etc because yes her boobs are way out of proportion to the rest of her, i just meant barbie as in the glamour type girls

id rather a girl who is all in proportion.... i find all models now a days quite unattractive, coz they are too skinny.... i have nothing wrong with skinny, nothing wrong with larger girls.... but personally, i wouldnt choose a barbi doll... i dont really like that im flawless look... i like a happy look, i'm not really getting this out the way i want it to...

For anyone who doubts....

First - work on the presumption that money talks.

It was my WIFE of 13 years of all people (who is ALL curves, and I like that about her) who pointed this out.

And just to be clear - my wife is not a large breasted woman. She is however, short, thick, (not fat), broad shouldered, tiny waisted, and round hipped....

Go to a strip club.

Sit back and watch.

The curvy girls make the most money.

Add another vote to the "I prefer curves" petition...

Not overly curvacious, such as big full breasts, tiny waist, and big ol' ass. To me that hour-glass figure looks odd. I guess I can't really describe the type of girl prefer, just not skin-n-bones.

I like em doughy.

i'm a curvy girl and I've been so much more happier these days.

living in Los Angeles for a couple of years did horrors for my self esteem. the girls were gorgeous and supermodel thin and of course, shopping in the beverly center (mall) and on melrose was impossible for girls shaped like me (try squeezing some D-cups into a baby tee that looked like it was made for a 12 year old boy). i didn't date. i didn't feel like I lived up to par with the quality of women in Hollywood where i lived and worked.

and i knew, being from the east coast originally, this was all bullshit, but i still couldn't help but feel bad.

since I've moved up to Nocal, I've been so much better, with an active love life, surrounded by much more genuine guys who appreciate girls that are soft in all the right places... ;)
