Hey everybody hope I don’t get torn apart for asking this! I currently have a cocaine addiction that has gotten out of hand. I’m wondering if I can transition to something else that would save me money that isn’t meth? I have an ADHD test coming up in an attempt to get a prescription for adderall or something but I’m worried that won’t really do anything since I’ve been using coke for so long. Appreciate you all and be safe -

I would give amphetamines a go. They could very well, if dose is right, make coke cravings more bareble. Not to mention that they last longer and depression that you will have to go through in first few weeks when you stop snorting (?) cocaine will not be soul crippling. You could also try, but just for first few weeks, to get ahold of lots of Ritalin and try with them. If you are snirting than taking some Ritalin orally and snorting some here and there could be great transition phase out of the very expensive and short lived option. Methylphenidate is also more similar to cocaine than amphetamine hcl and that could be good tactics. If you have the means try to get ahold of SR and IR Ritalin for first 2-3 weeks and then introduce amphetamines. But not in the same day! I know this is still abuse and you will have to persevere through tolerance adjustment but it is less harmful and would be the step in the right direction. My 2 cents.

Yes, very true…. Ritalin (Methylphenidate) and Cocaine are nearly identical in their MOA. Both being “Inverse Agonists” at the monoamine transporters DAT/SERT/NET.….both drugs cause the increase & release of dopamine in the CNS region responsible for pleasure & reward

Ritalin (Methylphenidate) is actually nearly 2X more potent than Cocaine as per their ED-50 (Effective Dose to inhibit 50% of the DAT - which is required to induce euphoria

Ritalin (Methylphenidate) - DAT>NET (3-4 X more active at DAT than the NET)
Cocaine - DAT>SERT>> NET

(Cocaine is the perfect balance more active at Dopamine & Serotonin, with Norepinephrine lagging behind, but still essential . 100% pure Pharmaceutical Cocaine HCL “small fluffy crystals” WARNING: May be habit forming lol

…..intravenous injection of pharmaceutical Cocaine & Diamorphine (Heroin) would be an atomic bomb of dopaminergic/opioid euphoric pleasure

Diamorphine (Heroin) - 4 parts

Ritalin & Phenmetrazine were Extremely desirable with hi-dose intravenous injection users for their insanely euphoric rush. Phenmetrazine (Preludin) was actually preferred over Methamphetamine (Methedrine & Desoxyn) for i.v. injection as it provided a significantly more pleasurable rush, and more of a sexual orgasmic euphoric rush. It was actually removed from the market due to its very high abuse potential …pure pharmaceutical API raw powder for injection, both Phenmetrazine & Ritalin (Methylphenidate) alike.

Cocaine users in a controlled study had difficulty differentiating between intravenous Cocaine or Ritalin (Methylphenidate) as their MOA is basically identical, except for Cocaine has prominent Serotonin properties as Ritalin does not. In any account…..that study is very interesting

same with studies comparing Morphine and Diacetylmorphine (Heroin) ….both were very desirable and dosed correctly sometimes difficult to distinguish. Identical results for injectable Hydromorphone (Dilaudid) to be given in place of Diacetylmorphine (Heroin) which didn’t require the stringent licensing requirements. HM was nearly indistinguishable from Diamorphine.

again, same with Amphetamines …..injections of racemate Amphetamine Sulphate, dextro-Amphetamine & dextro-Methamphetamine. All three amphetamines were very desirable and pleasurable and frequently difficult to differentiate between the test subjects ….even though Desoxyn (D-Methamphetamine) has significant Serotonin activity and much more water soluble, most likely penetrating the BBB much more rapidly causing a fast RUSH of significant euphoric bliss.
