Curious to the Nod

Is oxys and heroins Nod the same in intensity, clear pressence and quality? Also, is Nodding nearly as good as blowing up on mdma?

Heroin is much more sedating than oxy, which is even stimulating for many people. Alot of people find it nearly impossible to nod from oxy because of it's stimulating properites. So, no, the nod from oxy is not as intense as heroin. Euphoria is a different story however. Some people find the euphoria from oxy to be greater, and cleaner, than heroin. I am one of these people, and I've used both extensively. Other people will arue that the euphoria from oxy could never compete with the euphoria of heroin.

This is subjective. Some people prefer MDMA, some prefer opioids. I prefer the nod:).

BTW, there are many many MANY threads in which the effects of oxy and heroin are compared.

Cool, thanx for clearing it up. BTW, I was only asking bout the nod itself, where I ignorantly thought oxy even had a nod.
 
^Well, some people can get a decent nod off oxy, but most people with any tolerance to opioids cant, except with heroic doses.

I dont think the term "heroic" should be used to describe doses of anything but psychedelics. Maybe a more appropriate words would be "dumb" or "extremely large."
 
^^^I don't need vocabulary lessons from you. I think everyone here understands that by "heroic" I mean "very large". I wont even get into why you think the use of this term should be restricted to psychedelics. That's just stupid, and you know it, that's why you apologized for the comment.
 
i don't really think you could really compare nodding to blowing up on mdma as they are two opposite extremes... blowing up is just that... nodding is much more a sense of being locked in between awake and asleep.. and just nodding.... my personal preference, is to do mdma friday night, prozac saturday morning, and a bunch of oxy and hydrocodone that afternoon... it's a great nod, and it helps bring up more of an afterglow from the mdma

What is a better buzz? Whats the difference in feeling?
 
I find that good heroin is much better than oxy snorted. Much cheaper, at least in my area as well.
 
Sniffing H is extremely hard where I live because the H is only black tar. I have read all the threads about sniffing black tar and I have tried it before. I had to mix it w/ water and then sniff up the water. It burns like a mo fo. It was an all right high, I think if It was powder H like in other parts of the country I would probably love it. For me, I love the OC. For me to get into Nodding, I have to take around 100 to 120 mg of Oxy. Instead of sniffing that much, I sniff 80mg's and then I chase the dragon a little. I find that the mix gives a very nice nod and I get the great, " I am king of the world and everything is perfect" feeling.

As far as comparing the Nod to the rush of MDMA is really not practical. The highs are the completely different rushes, I guess the only simialarity is the fact theat they both make you feel like you are on top of the world. I definalty like the Opiate high way more than any MDMA high I have ever had. On mdma, I feel a little out of control, Opiates I can do all day long, I can be high at work and be perfictaly in control.

This is a quote I read on another web site which I thought was pretty dead on with the way I feel about opiates.

Opiate nods far outrank an mdma "blowup" for usefullness and overall pleasure.
 
So nodding- what is this really? When I had my wisdom teeth out and was taking two vicodin every four hours I would get to the point of feeling great then pass out for a good half hour or hour and then wake up and feel good and then take two more....for a few days.

Is this passing out stage considered nodding? Feeling good and then passing out? I mean it was good, but it wasn't that good. Of course, I'm more of a coke fan myself.
 
I agree with Tri-nity, COKE DOES SUCK COCK TO OPIATES. Opiates are by far the most fun narcotic. The thing with opiates is you can do them and feel so great, and then just go to bed, wake up the next morning and feeling normal. It's not like seeing the sun coming up and saying f*ck, I wish I could go to bed right now as your heart thumps a thousand beats per minute.

meowmix - I wish I had your tollerance to opiates. Enjoy that while it lasts. I was able to get great nods off of 2 vicodin about a year ago. Instead of going to bed, try and stay awake, fight the urge to go to bed, then you will feel the nod.

for me, nodding is more like being between asleep and awake. i will drift off into an opiate dream fanatasy and then suddenly snap awake. then i will gradually drift back into it and snap awake again.

sorry i dont agree with your opinion on that , the kick of iv coke outstands that of high potent opiates by far. And on a good dose of i.e. Heroin it can become really hard to get decent sleep.
