I live in a world of faulty wires
Jiggling them to work right
I live in a world full of technology
Where yes or no aren't words to me

People won't give me light
Unless I turn them on
I don't want to fight
I've been burning bright too long

My head is full of so much data
can't anyone give me security
Won't someone please back me up
before I get a virus in me

I need to find a connection soon
I need to upload fast
For if I don't find something soon
I fear I may not last

Someone please switch me off
I need to have a rest
For if I don't cool down soon
I fear I will crash at best.

Perhaps I may be replaced
That's all one could hope for
But if you could please slow my pace
We could desist disaster
