Cumulitive Oxycodone??? ZOIKS!!!

ok, and yes I did do some searching, and I think I get how the half life works...My question is if I take 60 mg every 4 hours of oxy will earlier doses effect later doses...like if I dose 4 times will the first dose have an effect on my dose 12 hours later or do I just have the 60 mgs in my body plus the half life from the dose before this current one? See, I've been on buprenorphine for a while now (between 2 and 4 mgs daily for almost a year now) and I decided to take roxis bc I'm coming close to running out before my next appointment and my doc is strict. I would rather do this while they're available rather than be sick for a couple days before the appt and end up in the city tryin to score somethin far worse. I know this post may be confusing so let me know if u have any questions let me know...thanks in advance for any help. I just don't wanna come this far abd end up dead bc I wasn't being on the safe side. and yes, obviously at the rate I'm taking oc today I'm trying to "get it in" while the oppurtunity is there, lol. I won't bs myself

I would wait 24-48 hours after your last dose of bupe before taking a full-agonist opiate. It's going to be a rather large let-down if you don't wait long enough for it to clear your body (fully takes a LONG time).

Beyond that - 1mg buprenorphine = 32mg oxycodone.

Half-life - ~4 hours for oxycodone:
0:00 - eat
0:30 - active
4:00 - 15mg remains in the body, taking an additional 30mg would put total systemic dose at 45mg
8:00 - first dose down to 7.5mg, second to 15mg, additional 30mg would put you at 52.5mg effective
12:00 - first dose down to 3.75mg, second to 7.5mg, third to 15mg, final 30mg puts you at 56.25mg effective.

See how that plays out? Use them slowly / wisely.

NT: I think he's trying to avoid being sick between the time his supply runs out and his Dr appt for refill. He may also be trying to get high in the middle somewhere so his doc won't find out? I'm also not 100% sure..
