I know that no one really knows the answer to the following, just looking for any advice.
I am wondering how bad of wds I will be experiencing after 10 to 12 days of daily Valium and Butalbital abuse. Dosages: 40 to 110mg Valium and 350 to 550mg Butalbital, usually separate, rarely mixed.
I just took a last single mg of Xanax I found yesterday so today will be my first day officially without a benzo or barb in my system.
Rehab is not an option. I can gain access to things like lyrica and gabapentin, but I'm loathe to go get more benzos or barbiturates - too much work and I somewhat doubt I could not abuse any barbiturate even if it was for tapering.
I'm basically gonna cold turkey it and hope for the best. Any other benzo heads have any ideas? I'm hoping that since the binge was under 2 weeks that it wont be as bad as im thinking it will be. I know I can't be the only one here whose done the whole barbiturate thing either, and (Un)fortunately as barbiturates are so rarely prescribed most doctors don't know what to do to handle a taper - I doubt I'm a seizure risk, but I know I'm in for hell. Been through terrible w/ds from meprobamate (basically a barbiturate) and extremely high dose (years of mostly daily use) clonazepam before, so I know what to expect, but it still scares me.
Thanks.
