crystallized lungs? O.o

So word around the tweek world is that if you hold in methamphetamine smoke it can crystallize in your lungs. True or False? im honestly not sure. but ive been smoking a lot of dope lately and my lungs keep making a rattling noise/feeling when i breathe. not sure about the real story. Enlighten me someone?

Well.... Technically true. In a sense. But not how you think.

Anything you vaporize has already re crystallized by the time it reaches your lungs. Otherwise you would be burning your lungs.

That "smoke" is actually a cloud of micro crystals that you breathe in. But these crystals don't stay there, they're rapidly dissolved and absorbed into the tissue of your alveoli. this happens regardless of how long you hold in the smoke.

In any case, I'm not sure why this is in the psychedelic drugs forum.
