Wanna watch it, but also feel like they're gonna try and "Humanize" Jason...like, make him a sympathetic character. These shows all seem to do that kinda thing? I think giving Jason a proper backstory and personality etc would ruin the character.
Plus, this and the Carrie series were two shows I was really excited for and Carrie was such a bunch of bullshit (the end, anyway, for sure).

It's the unstoppable force of nature that seems to be the immortal nightmare of movies and series of horror shows that just won't go away.

The Final Destination franchise is a series of horror movies. And not actually a series show. The Final Destination movies
seemed to always be quite a chain of events that I always thought were quite intriguing.
The series of the six feature movies, starting with Final Destination in 2000 and continuing through Final Destination: Bloodlines in 2025.
There is no official Final Destination theatrical movie in 2026, though a fan-made concept video or a minor TV/web production titled Final Destination: Deadzone listed as a 2026 release.
The next official installment in the franchise, Final Destination 7, is scheduled to hit theaters on May 12, 2028.
