Don't be ashamed of the tears you cry
For they are not in vain,
Coz crying helps us heal our souls
For crying releases pain.
Sometimes these little 4 line poems just pop into my head - they're like pieces of advice that come when I need them. Just wanted to share that one

short, sweet and happy! shaazam! ur screen name keeps making me think of Tom Robbin's "Even Cowgirls Get the Blues", never read it, but it popped into my head.
BTW- what happens if you just cant cry?

Cowgirl24 thats beautiful, it really tells the truth, i used to cry alot more, i wish i did more now...

crying is something i do a lot of lately... sometimes its tears held back, and then there's times where i dont just cry, i WEEP, and i can actually feel physical pain pour out of my heart.
tears are a gift God gave us, to let out the pain in our hearts. i believe that.

Silentpoet: Interesting question and I'm not sure of the answer. Fortunately or unfortunately (I'm not sure which) I've never had that problem. I don't think I want to know what it feels like not to be able to cry. I used to think being sensitive was a bad thing but it's a big part of me and I don't mind so much anymore. Maybe some people just don't need to cry. Pain can be released in other ways...I guess you just have to find you own way.
Thankyou to everyone for your replies.

I just have visions of 'the Orb' strumming a tune...but thats just me.
