Crusties v Cops

How can you say that about Possil ... its such a lovely place this time of year lol

Hahaha, my mate was telling me at the weekend about the job he used to do banging doors trying to con cunts in to signing up to some charity. He said Possil was one of the worst areas he went to. Went up to some junkie's door, was talking to this obviously smacked out his tits dude for about 5 minutes when the guy bent down & pulled up his trousers (my mate hadn't noticed that the cunt's trousers where at his ankles!!) he then proceeded to slowly stroke his cock while nodding off & saying "Aye maaaan, I'm peeeyoor wantin tae git intaaae that charity stuff n 'at aaaaaaye" haha!

"There was a film screening in Mina road park scheduled for 9pm tonight about the riot last week. Went down there and Old Bill were everywhere. They confiscated the projector and started searching people. The film moved to a house and the OB were standing outside stopping people from walking down the road outside. Then the riot gear came out and no one even did anything.

I just dont understand what they are trying to accomplish with this as all its doing is putting everyone's back up even further.

Welcome to police state 1984, bitches."

Scotland Yard has raided five squats in London 24 hours before the royal wedding – a week after promising pre-emptive action to ensure the day is trouble free.

Three squats in Camberwell, south London, were raided on Thursday morning along with a community at Heathrow, known as Transition Heathrow and set up in opposition to the building of Terminal 3. The fifth squat raided was Offmarket in Hackney, north-east London.

Wankers.

How does a squat actually come about? Is it just purely derelict buildings that will never be used again or do they actually break into peoples property? how do they know that it is going to be derelict for a long time... say I had a pub or something and it was for sale, not being used for a few months, would they go for something like that?

Im all for people using the buildings when they are not in use, but what happens when the owner wants them out because they need to use the buildings again, I assume they just leave and be happy for the roof theyve had over there heads for a while?? Do they leave it in the exact state theyve found it? ie no damages what so ever...?

Seen on the news a few times property owners trying there hardest to remove squatters from there property, how can these people refuse to leave propertys thats not theres, even though theyve been using it for some time???

Pretty curious as to how they think?

keep an eye on building for a while. check the coming and goings, then break the squat secure it and stick a section six on the door. some squat evictions are peaceful. others get out of hand like the bristol one . which is still being squatted despite police efforts. there have been six squat evictions in London today in advance of the royal wedding. there is actually a legal squatting company, i forget the name but it originated in Amsterdam. basically landlords who don't want responsibility for a property hand it over to people who can live there for a small fee as long as they look after the property, its essential that the "tenant" is in employment too.

no not all illegal squats are left in the way they were found. however i have been in some that you would assume was just someone's house!

try living five minutes away from all the trouble! peaceful protest street party arranged for tonight but i strongly doubt it will be so. I'm not staying at my place this evening. the sound of helicopters hovering right above my house gets annoying.

im not too far! tesco riots came right down my road but I've been away. Just got back and spoke to my only housemate who was about at the time and he didnt even realise it happened till 3 days after haha.

People scope them out for a while, afaik 90% of the time its one of many properties that someone owns that they can't sell because of location or whatever reason.

Most of the squats i've been to in bristol havn't been that nice except the magpie but I think thats actually owned by some old hippy and not actually a squat.

Been to some really nice ones in London though, properly done up and lived in for years without any trouble. Generally comes down to how on-it the squatters are to how well the property is treated.

What if the owner/landlord comes by one day and just simply says right ive sold the place, or im doing it up now or whatever, do people just move on or what?

I can't see many of them just getting up and leaving without any sort of protest.

it has to through court. it can be a long battle. Google section six.

I'm just off to a squat party in the squat the police tried to evict last week. stop and searches happening so drugs will be staying in the house.

"So wot you know 'bout cribs, all you need is first dibs and a section 6" ;)

Sometimes the Police don't do owt too and just leave it to the Landlord / owner and the courts.
I remember being at a squat party on NYE 4 or 5 years ago and a cop turned up, purely to see if everything was alright (nobody was causing trouble, hurt, being violent) and they just left after seeing that all was well.. Dispite that there were a load of drugged-up mash heads about =D

I really doubt the Tescos will be around much longer ;) After all the protests, riots, masses of signed objections etc. the counsel will see sense and remember what Stokes Croft was, what it is now and what it stands for.

You not think that is extremely selfish, why is going through court even an option? You are on someone elses property... ok youve stayed there in the mean time when it is not being used, but now they want it back what right do people think they have to say no you cant chuck us out of your own property? It dosent even seem like some of these people even keep these buildings in good shape???? :!

I kind of agree with this, although I like the whole idea of "Fuck it, we're having it!", if it was my property then I wouldn't be getting the cops in, I'd be paying some tooled up hippy-removers to clear the joint out. No danger. If I owned the place cunts would be getting shifted, definitely. "Hawl, crusty!! Fuckin' OOT!!!!! NOW!" lol

Probably why there's not a lot of squats round here (none as far as I know), maybe the law is different in Scotland or maybe cunts just get smacked about the dome with baseball bats & telt to shift it.

more vans on the scene , no one is sleeping there tonight lol

Aye - A great deal of people are fed up and just want to go to bed!
Seems the streaming's finished for now. Might get some kip soon myself seeing as I actually can without choppers and idiots rioting (people who dont' give a shit what the community are protesting for and against)!

Got a gig to attend of Reggae and Dub in the sunshine %)

Good luck to those in and around Stokes ♥

---- Edit ----
Ooh - The guy steaming has said he'll continue if anything interesting happens.
