Life drains from my world,
as I look beyond to see
nothing left of me.
Along rocky paths
withered warriors walked,
and I shall follow.
I reach the summit,
I unfurl my wings and fly,
I escape this world.

This poem is a collection of separate haiku that represent the challenge of accomplishing a task. Any task worth doing will be dificult one way or another. It's the things that come easy that make our lives boring or mundane. We all need to be challenged at work, school, home, life, or even at a party. The challenge at the party can come from self control or even the drive to improve your dance skills. The challenge of living is what defines life. If there is no challenge in your life, then it will never matter if you were ever born. What's your challenge?
