I don't want to worry myself and I probably am going to have to go to a doctor about this, but hoping I can get some input here.

Whenever I'm sitting down or lying down playing games, watching TV, or even nothing I sometimes get severe pains in my chest. It is focused almost on the breastbone right in the middle of my chest. It feels like somebody is pushing down with something really heavy in that spot and it absolutely kills me; like it will make me sit and stop stop. Just had it about 2 minutes ago and it nearly brought a tear (maybe through panic?)

I dont get it often but have only recently noticed it. I get it maybe once every one-two weeks, maybe three. Will come out of nowhere.

Anyone have any idea what it is or experienced this before?

It depends what the causation is. During stimulant anxiety (this is common for me) I will feel acute pressure and tension. However the issue there is that adjusting my posture will change the pressure and tension to be not nearly as bad.

Chest pain should be treated as a medical emergency regardless of age. I would see a doctor soon and get an EKG run.

I would say that if you are experiencing chronic pain it be absolutely mandatory to visit an ER before it escalates into a possible myocardial infarction.

Yea I appreciate it might be more than nothing, so I'll check in with a doctor next week. The pain is really bad but it goes after a few minutes (with a bit of soreness for 5-10 minutes) and then completley goes.

I get this completley sobre, never had it on drugs, and havent done any drugs for a month. Will literally just be sitting there and it'll hit me.

It's good to get it checked next time it happens. Maybe have someone drive you to the hospital because your GP might not have the right equipment to thoroughly run all the tests. When it happened to me, my mother took me to the emergency department and I didn't have to wait. They saw me right away and found it was costochondritis.

You should really see a doctor, sounds heart related, but it could just be anxiety.

I have had chest pains before but they were sharp and it was angina caused by stress and inflammation.

Absolutely see a Doctor OP. This forum does not exist for diagnosis - not only are we not medical professionals, but we have no way of examining you or completing the necessary tests.
