Cross tolerance 4-HO-MET and 1 week later empathogen

Hey guys and gals,

In about two weeks some buddies and I wanna celebrate my birthday by doing some 5-MAPB (MDMA derivative for those who don't know). Now there's the oppurtinity to do 4-HO-MET (psilocin derivative, high dosage of probably 50 mg) one week before.

Is there significant cross tolerance to be expected in this order? If we were to take the 5-MAPB first, I'd say yes, but like this I'm unsure.

I'd say that you would be fine, a week is long enough and it's unlikely there's significant crossover

I've no experience with 5-MAPB but I have taken MDMA one day after taking 4-HO-MET and noticed little to no cross tolerance.

There generally isn't a cross tolerance between tryptamines and phenethylamines and their analogs. Tryptamines and tryptamines are cross-tolerant and phenethylamines and phenethylamines can be cross-tolerant but its pretty rare to get cross tolerance with tryptamines and phenethylamines together.

IMO: On the contrary, I feel that the days after a 4HOMET trip I am more open towards the Self, and since MDMA can help bringing you in contact with this Self, using 4HOMET a week before can even facilitate the catharsis brought about by MDMA.
