i've been trying to film videos of the sound of my nose breathing and how long i hold in my breathes for a few months now, and i never can get into a good flow. i've gotten a lot of confidence with tai chi getting into hip hop dancing and rap again through out the past couple weeks.. some how i was able to film the audio and a bit of visuals of me breathing in a healthy pattern today. i really feel inclined to post this video to the internet because a lot of people like wim hof breathing and i think my style is more helpful and it might be backed up by science. wim hof is a lot of exhaling through the mouth and that's not really appropriate for being in a relaxed state. you want to breath out the nose. i test out a lot of people doing guided meditation in ASMR through you tube. listening to these people talk can be relaxing, but i don't really think most of these people know what they are doing with their guidance, it's just random talking.
i got a book the science of breath with swami rama many years back and have been practicing yoga with it's breathing recommendations for about 20 years. they recommend working up to holding in your breathes for 5 seconds. i think that's far too long ime. there might be ways to meditate and do this, but it really doesn't help me, and with my breathing i do get into psychedelic states that are like salvia or bizarre intense dreams and they can feel really euphoric more so than any drugs.. in this video, i am making noise with where i believe my nose meets the back of my throat. i first started making this noise while nodding on opiates as a teen. i decided to try this in my sober life and while stoned through out the years. it took me some time to get better at it. when i was being drugged in the hospital with heavy doses of risperdal i was left nodding out for a few days, and i'd find myself struggling and getting relief making this noise with my nose. i also get louder breathing like this when withdrawing from drugs... being injured and having malfunctions with the muscles in my back that are influenced by breathing has gotten me even better at doing this breathing and letting it relax me. i believe getting adrenaline from wim hof breathing can bring some people to a psychedelic state, but i think with practice testing this breathing method could help some people.
i'm hoping others can benefit from the time i had to spend being injured learning to breath like this.
here is my video. 6 minutes into the video is where i take the longest amount of seconds holding in my breaths. you can pick up on when i'm breathing in and out and also when i hold breaths. it's kind of hard to tell, but if you really care to pay attention, this is real shit. this whole video is just me breathing. at the start of the video there is info to when i am in different poses, not that it really matters to some one that isn't a trained professional. maybe it could help someone learn in the unconscious though. i'm going to shoot some stuff like this again better. i'm hoping to make some friends to film me when i'm in a good flow state:

anyways, enough about breathing, here's some info on my stretching. try out what i think are probably good universally helpful stretches and how i compare them and you might get a bit more interested in believing there is something to my style of slightly noisy nose breathing:
i've tried a lot of yoga poses... if i were shown many poses first, i would be completely turned off by yoga or stretching. i've only picked a few poses that i chose to do, and after getting hit by a car, my options are even more limited. in this thread i will tell what benefits me as a person that was diagnosed with mild scoliosis in high school and has been injured getting hit by a car to make things even worse.
my first recommendations for stretching is the hurdler ham string stretch. i learned this from karate. i wouldn't even do this as hard as the average karate practitioner. i don't do this stretch anymore after hurting my back. pulling on your foot a bit feels great. i may've done this too hard in drug withdrawl before and enjoyed it, but i never really had a problem. a light hurdler hamstring stretch is great. google says it's perfectly okay to pull on your foot a bit in the hurdler hamstring stretch.
the cat cow stretch to bridge is something that i do even after getting hit by a car. really helps. sometimes i do this and then end up kneeling for a bit. this can be real enjoyable. be careful not to do this till your feet fall asleep. a lot of people pray that way in different cultures, so if your knees are okay, you may be able to spend a lot of time in this pose if you can figure out how to breath.
half lord of the fish pose was my favorite for a while before getting hit by a car. i can't turn that part of my back anymore with out getting headaches. maybe seek a trained instructor when learning this one cause it can be tricky to learn. if you have clunky shoes on, i think that it's not good to do this.. would definitely recommend learning this. a lot of yoga poses are not helpful to me.. i believe a lot of people have tension and the desire to turn their back. i really believe this universally is a healthy position. i'm unsure about a lot of yoga. but hey, maybe some people can't get into this one cause they aren't even inclined enough to do yoga, or on the opposite end of that a person could like more intense yoga. i feel like a lot of people could benifit from doing this though.
i'm not sure there is really a whole lot of reason to do that pretzel leg yoga pose... it's simple one. i never really felt too good about that one. i was really recommending the half lord of the fish pose. i think maybe if the average person tries these positions, they will find relief from a session of half lord of the fish pose and the hurdler ham string stretch. i really get a kick out the cat cow stretch to bridge pose, but i don't think as many people are gonna get that quit as much. it's a bit odd. i think my breathing recommendation might come off as a bit odd, but maybe if someone out their wants to experiment with what i have to say about stretching poses, maybe they will get me and want to try to get into the nose noise breathing that i'm trying to patent. hell, maybe i'm wrong and this shit is just gonna bother people if they try. i doubt any one is really even gonna get into this. i'm mostly just writing because i'm hoping the CIA knows the secrets of the universe and they are stalking me and gonna document that i'm smart and know what i'm talking about and that i'm the type of person that would try to bring this to the people... i'd also love to help people too. since i found out that the ozone layer was healing in 2016 and that cow farts aren't really going to ruin the planet and there is a chance to go on with population in great numbers, i've been feeling a lot of love. i'd totally be stoked if anyone tried this out, and benefited from it. i'm gonna post this to reddit when i clean up my you tube sometime. i'd really like to help people. i know a lot of people like wim hof. i know i'm relaxing muscles better than that would. meditation is supposed to be in a relaxed state imo. you even need to be relaxed to have best results doing intense things like hardcore metal music. google says that in a resting state it's more appropriate to exhale through the nose. wim hof is a lot of intense mouth breathing. i don't buy it. if you want to raise addrenaline, by all means do wim hof. hell, maybe it works for some people. i think the general goal of meditation is to relax though and that would be a normal thing to say.
the final stretches i'm gonna be recommending is the reclining trunk torso stretch. i like to do my laundry and leave a pile of clothes on the floor in my room. as i do the laundry i go through different days of how far i recline. on the days where there is a large stack of laundry, i like to lay back sitting mostly upright on the laundry and do the trunk torso stretch... as i use more laundry, i begin to recline more... some days i'm completely reclined and even lie on the floor. the trunk torso stretch feels great. i never really benefited from this stretch when i'd try to do it before getting hit by a car, but after getting hit by a car, this is the only relief i can get turning my back, so i get into really good breathing patterns doing it. watch in the video for how i slightly turn my head to the side with the breathing. you may feel the need to move doing this stretch if you get some good breathing. it' a relaxing need to move. just slightly turn your head to the side.... ...... . .. . . . . . . . . . . . .... also with the pile of laundry, i like to lie flat on the pile of laundry... i was recommended in physical therapy to lie flat on my stomach and try to raise my chin up as high as possible stretching my back. they made me do this in high school. i was never any good at it. i could do it for a couple seconds, and not as far as the physical therapists thought i could've.. what i like to do is lie flat on the pile of laundry, so my spine curves and stretches. don't set your laundry pile too high. in PT, they recommend to only hold the stretch for like 30 seconds. i lie flat on the pile of laundry stretching my back for like ten minutes at a time. i feel great afterward.
