critique the song above

You're welcome to critique songs however you want but simple "not my things" aren't really constructive. It's sticky because it's hard to get around not liking a certain genre or whatever but maybe we can go into a little more detail? Pick out something you like or don't. I don't know. The little game just seems a bit boring to me when it's just constant 'not my things'. :\

3/10 He doesn't have any flow and his beats are lame. Nothing but corporate rap. I don't understand why he is so popular.

Pete Rock and Cl Smooth-Take You There

8/10, great song. Really like the hook and the guys got good rhythm, a nice flow and I really like the tone of his voice. The description for this song is "classic" and thats what it really appears to be. I am not an expert on rap or hip hop but this immediately took me back, it sounds refreshing and it still sounds fresh. Just good, enjoyable hip hop.

Spiritualized - Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space

I love that this song has rounds in it. They went extremely well together. How come I haven't listened to Spiritualized before? This is totally interesting music. :) The video is really dark but I think it's artistically pretty. Very catchy for sure. 8/10

Wilco - Jesus Etc.

edit: The video is from their film I Am Trying to Break Your Heart with footage all over Chicago and in their studio.

6/10 for this version, 8/10 for the song. It sounds softer, more vulnerable than the version from Kicking Television, for example. Soft and vulnerable is not, in itself, a criticism, but I do much I prefer the KT version to this one. It also sounds in this one a bit like Jeff Tweedy has a stuffy nose. Awesome song nonetheless.
