Is he campaigning in the European forums or something? It seems like a lot of those folks are the ones voting for him. Not like there is anything wrong with that, I'm just surprised at the jump, and I am curious how he got all those people to come out and vote for him...

No, the contest was always very much alive. We already did the first round with TheLoveBandit. You can check out the contest and polling threads in this forum.
 
I don't see anything wrong with voting for oneself, in general that is. I know in all the photo contests I've entered I only had one photo that I felt was win-worthy. Only one time I felt as if I would have maybe voted for myself. But I didn't vote for myself because it's looked down upon.

I guess we're never completely objective but I like to think that others try real hard to be as objective as possible in our fun contests.

This situation is kind of different because, well, isn't it obvious? =D

But yeah, in general, I don't find anything wrong with it. If you're hands-down the best qualified candidate what's wrong with it? It's almost lying to yourself to vote otherwise. Hell, if I were Barak Obama I'd absolutely vote for myself. Just as an example... ;)

LOL, Usually you would be right, but this time however Im being genuinely nice because I like Ladyinthesky as a friend. We talk all the time on AIM. Shes a really cool person and shes my favorite bluelighter, hands down.
