Crazy Trip, Help!

i took shrooms for the first time a month ago and i totally got messed up, i went blank, and people told me i started acting possesed, and like the demon girl in the exorcist, and i was talking in this other creepy language.. they were scared out of their minds, beacause they looked up similar reactions to this, and they said that when i grow up i could turn schitzofrenia, i'm worried and i don't understand this chemical imbalance and if it's true about unleashing shkitzofrenia..

First off I know this relates to an experience you had, but this is a place for reports and you are more or less asking a health related question. If you want to put more detail into this I'm sure it could be a pretty interesting report, but if not then this doesn't belong in this forum.

Second, Relax. You had a bad trip, an awful bad sounding trip and I'm sorry you ad' to go through that, but realize that you are not alone. Nearly everyone has a bad trip sooner or later. Do you have any knowledge of a family history of schizophrenia? It's something you should look into and take into careful consideration before you ever ingest another psychedellic. Until then lay off the shrooms.

Do not use drugs if you have a histroy of mental illness in your family unless you have no issues with drugs potentialy bringing said issues to the forefront of your psyche. My advice? Go and see a qualified psychatrist or clinical psychologist if you are really worred about what's happening...
