Heroin Crazy crazy crazy histamine release?

Ok so I have been getting this product from a guy for a long time. I have had reactions like this once in awhile but never this bad and never this consistent.


So basically over the past month or so his product has been causing me crazy reactions. When I IV it, it feels as though I have just IV'd gasoline and lit a match. It is ridiculous how much it burns and itches and hurts for about 30 seconds. At the same time my skin breaks out in red spots and small patches of swollen skin.

I have dealt with histamine reactions before, but never to this extent. Is this something else? Or is it just that his product has gotten so dirty that it is causing this super mega histamine reaction?


Like using his dope wasn't even pleasurable, it hurt like hell! After like 10 minutes though I was high as a kite but still itching and red spots and little swollen circles all over.

I have gotten different product from another person and did NOT have any kind of reaction like this. Just this particular persons product.

Sounds like a reaction to what it's been cut with. Maybe get your dope from someone else for awhile.

I agree with the above poster. It's most likely the cut most heroin is cut with Diphenhydramamine or dimenhydrinate which is an anti-histamine in itself. What color is the heroin? it could very well be a synthetic opiate such as an analogue of Fentynal it could even be in the area you are I know in russia there is a Desomorphine epidemic that is getting pretty nasty it causes burning/itching at the site and causes gangrene, loss of limbs, and rotting of the skin/injection sites and its perfectly legal in that area its pretty gruesome, if you watch the videos about it on youtube the nickname is Krokodil ( a Russian word for crocodile) because it makes your skin rough and green and resembles a crocodiles skin pretty nasty stuff.

Lets not start speculating about what it was or what was in it. Who knows what was in it. We don't do drug/cut identification discussion.

And the OP didn't even say what it was, just "product". (I am assuming it's supposed to be some type of heroin but there is base heroin, heroin hydrochloride, tar heroin, tar heroin that's made into a powder, etc and some types are more likely to cause that kind of reaction than others). It's possible that it was poorly produced/refined, or that it was cut with something (whether an inactive filler or another drug), or was another drug entirely. You really never know when you're buying heroin. I would just not buy any more of that batch, that's all you can really do. Or send it to a lab if you want to know what's in it. Don't know what more can be said.

Also to the poster above, dope being cut with an antihistamine would not cause a histamine reaction. And desomorphine/krokodil (a poorly manufactured highly impure clandestine form of desomorphine made from codeine) is not legal in Russia, in fact Russia has now banned the sale of OTC codeine, due to its use in making krokodil.

I've found that if the dope I was getting was giving me a reaction like that...(it'd usually only happen to me when doing larger shots) taking an antihistamine before injecting got rid of the negative effects like the burning and etc.

That same thing happened to me 2-3 times a month ago. It was all from the same dealer, probably just whatever was cut with that batch if dope.
No one ever said H was clean...
