I usually take 150 to 300mgs of tramadol with a sip of codeine times every weekend. I used to take Percocet then Vicodin. I basically start to dope "down." Anyways, I have cravings for tramadol during the week. I never had cravings with the stronger opiates. What gives?

Tramadol is a nasty opiod. I use to take it for pain & it did nothing for my pain. Only thing it did is pep me up like speed. I couldn't even sleep at night, it kept me up.
I must have been one of the people Tramadol didn't work on for pain.
As for getting addicted to the stuff, I can't see how anyone gets addicted to Tramadol but not to hydrocodone or oxycodone.
Heck, even codeine is tons better than Tramadol at least to me.

Well idk what dose or how often you took the vics and percs, but 150-300 mg tram is = to around 15-30 mg of hydrocodone, to give an idea of the strength comparable to the other opioids.
Did you mean to write a # of how many "....times every weekend"? Seems to be missing if you did....

Tramadol makes me queasy and speedy. Doesn't feel like an opiate at all.

Tramadol lasts a verrrryyy long time. If you have some sort of mild depression issues as well it'll be tackling that issue so there's that other factor which is making you more addicted.
I personally really like tramadol. My codeine tolerance now basically neglects feeling much from it but when I was opiate naive I loved being high all day with that slight anti-depressant edge. Made me fuckin' nausea's though, vomiting was guaranteed.
Be thankful you're addicted to tram and not something more serious. Take solace, you can't beat it my friend.
