crack?

at the risk of sounding stupid id like to know what the drug people call "crack" in western australia is. Im preety sure it isnt crack cocaine due to users i know reporting diffrent effects and a longer high which sounds more like methamphetamine is it just a regional name for a type of meth?

Yep, it's just meth. We call it crack in SA too

yeah i dont know why this started,west and south oz both do it..i think because it rolls off the tongue better calling you meth mate a crackhead instead of a meth head..has a different ring to it.

Crack is near impossible to find,unless you crack back cocaine hcl with sodium bicarbonate and either etjor or water..waters easier.. But the cokes so rubbish,and the high so short,your better of smoking crystal

I always just assumed it came from calling glass pipes a crackpipe. If it's a crackpipe, it follows logically that whatever you smoke out of it must be crack, therefore...

^ Thats pretty much the reasoning behind a lot of people I know referring to it as crack. Personally it is a little bit of a pet peeve of mine but way too many people use the terminology these days to even bother correcting them.

Crack is very rare in Australia and if you are ever to encounter it I doubt there will be any confusion as to what it is.

I think this question has been answered and I don't see much HR in this thread, so I am gonna close it for now.
