1:4 ratio
big metal spoon + water to submerge it in
Heat for aprox a minute until foam/no foam but oil starts to rise

collect oil with penny or knife

Ehh? any other things im missing or tips that will help *cough* people not F up.

Spoon method, not big batch making hahhaa.
 
Seems OK

Not sure about the ratio but if it's baking soda you can use 1:1, it's not critical.

Heat until it bubbles (fizzes), then remove the flame for a while for it to cool somewhat, then repeat until the yellowish gold forms.

While cooking, hold spoon over a plate (rather than over the sink-hole).
 
what do you mean rather than over the sink hole??

& yeah baking soda.
I've been seeing /all/ different types of ratios?
I guess it just depends on how pure your coke is/how potent you want the rock to be ??
 
If you spill, you'll be grateful to recover your precious stuff on the plate.

Baking soda can be present, as chemists say, "in excess". It will not make the crack less potent, nor will it make more crack if there's no more blow present to make it.
 
you'll see the oil seperate as it melts..watch you dont roast it..its good to let it dry out over night..but u seem pretty keen so that wont happen...watch the roasting
 
it gets kind of foggy and starts to smoke.
i stop lighting it if it smokes but should i continue after that or just let it be???
 
If you're smart you calculate your heating/inhaling so as not to let too much smoke escape into the environment. Admittedly, sometimes if you stop heating but go on inhaling until your lungs are full, it continues to smolder on its own, aaargh! Therefore better smoke small bits at a time.

all the water evaporated and im left with some oily shit that now is chunking together like some nice crack crystals

Well since this is basically answered, as well as extensively covered on other parts of the site as well as the internet, I am going to close this. I'm glad you found success, OP, just tread lightly with the crack smoking. It's a mean beast if you get too deep.
