Coworkers

I love how people have no idea that I know anything about drugs. My coworkers are always making jokes about drugs, but I can tell no one has actually done anything before because of how un-knowledgeable they are about it.

My one coworker got cough syrup with codeine in it, then everyone is talking about opiates. I'm trying to keep quiet - I can't say much. So my coworker comes up to me, telling me about codeine, he's like "you know it's an opiate, right?" aha ... just like I had no clue what it was.

It bugs me when they get the facts wrong, like "omg weed is so addictive and so bad for you" etc. And same with acid, cuz apparently it kills everyone.

I wish that there wasn't so much at risk and I could tell them the facts. Although I do find it amusing that they think I know absolutely nothing about it. Just cuz I'm quiet, you know, and I don't look "crazy" or anything. It's amusing

 

Lol, I hate when I'm around a group of uneducated people who are talking about drugs, I'm tempted to speak up but if I do then the majority will think what I'm saying is bullshit because it isn't the same stuff they've been hearing all their lives.... A few days ago I was with a group of people that a friend of mine knows. They were talking about MDMA, I tried to butt into the conversation and one of them looked at me and asked if I knew what it was.. Lol, I was thinking to myself, yea I'm a mod for an Ecstasy forum on a drug site and on Pillreports, I'm pretty sure I know what MDMA is 8)

 

Lol! OMG that reminds me of the very best one. My coworkers were talking about how this concert at this place near where we work, well apparently it smelled like weed in there, they were joking how security did a terrible job. I wondered what concert it was, so I asked them. They thought I was asking what weed was! Really, lol. They were like trying to explain what weed was ... of course from people who probably never smoked it before, to someone who loves it, lol.

Yeah, I know tons of people won't believe me, just cuz of all the lies that are spread. It sucks. Even with drug users though, it's like that, they are all like "my ecstasy is triple stacked!" etc. etc. and it's like ... mmm OK. Or "I had some acid in my ecstasy". The best one was when two users (mostly just ecstasy though) told me about how they snorted acid, but someone told them it was ecstasy. (Probably MDA ... lmao). This happens way too many times!
