Landmark rulings
In December 2012, two landmark decisions were announced that confirmed Dr. Wakefield’s original concern that there is a link between the MMR vaccine, autism and stomach disorders. The news went mostly unreported, but independent outlets like The Liberty Beacon finally began publishing the groundbreaking news.

The website wrote last month, ‘In a recently published December 13, 2012 vaccine court ruling, hundreds of thousands of dollars were awarded to Ryan Mojabi, whose parents described how “MMR vaccinations” caused a “severe and debilitating injury to his brain, diagnosed as Autism Spectrum Disorder (‘ASD’).”’

The Liberty Beacon went on to describe the second court ruling that month, as well as similar previous verdicts writing, ‘Later the same month, the government suffered a second major defeat when young Emily Moller from Houston won compensation following vaccine-related brain injury that, once again, involved MMR and resulted in autism. The cases follow similar successful petitions in the Italian and US courts (including Hannah Poling, Bailey Banks, Misty Hyatt, Kienan Freeman, Valentino Bocca, and Julia Grimes) in which the governments conceded or the court ruled that vaccines had caused brain injury. In turn, this injury led to an ASD diagnosis. MMR vaccine was the common denominator in these cases.’

The report echoes the exact same sentiment that our reader conveyed – Dr. Wakefield has had his career and reputation destroyed over the past 15 years, but has just been vindicated. The account reports, ‘While repeated studies from around the world confirmed Wakefield’s bowel disease in autistic children and his position that safety studies of the MMR are inadequate, Dr. Wakefield ’s career has been destroyed by false allegations. Despite this he continues to work tirelessly to help solve the autism catastrophe.’

I'm not saying it shouldn't be posted here; all I'm saying is that I'm personally not gonna change my opinion based on it.

And it's unsigned, so a reader can't assess the author's expertise. That's ok if the subject is Baklava Recipes, but not the link between autism and vaccines.
 
What a bunch of conspiracy bullshit it's already been proven that the scientist who did the study proving the link falsified data.

The signs of autism usually come out at the same age kids get the vaccine. Kids also start smoking weed at around the same age they start having sex so does that mean there is a direct link between weed use and teen pregnancy.

I personally consider refusing to vaccinate your kids a form of child abuse.
 
They just refer to it generally and try to make you feel empathy for this quack scientist. Is there even a proposed mechanism for this supposed brain damaged caused by the vaccine?

Wakefield again. Jesus fucking wept. I thought we had heard the last of that butcher.

At least, aside from the mercury millitia, antivaxxers and fucking autism speaks (not for me they don't, I can speak for myself. What makes me angriest about that garbagemonger wakefield, is that he took invasive samples from these kids, without the slightest intent of HELPING them with any difficulties they do have. No. Just for his own greedy sake. And didn't he pay for blood samples direct from other kids at a party? thats not just borderline unethical, thats right up there with him bending over to bugger McCarthy in a seedy, hobo-vomit-besplattered public toilet cubicle on a friday pissup night and dogging session.

Teamed up with the Hg militias favourite Lady Poisonslut JennyMcCarthy in a manner of speaking too.

My kid shouldn't have to sit in same class as anti vaxer's kid either. They should have a polio elementary school for them, smallpox high or something.

I am a biomedical researcher who has worked extensively in many areas (pharmacology, neurology, and immunology to name a few). Although these particular referenced articles and studies may be horse shit I can assure you that vaccine induced Autisim is a definite possibility.

On the other hand, it may be a form or evolution as Autistics are extremely more intelligent than average. Despite their lack of ability regarding communication, perhaps it is a more evolved form of communication that we are just not ready for as a species. They may simply be just more evolved than the masses.

Well, we certainly have screwed with natural selection so I hear you on that. It is kind of like this scenario...We can't even have a naturally occurring forest fire or a prescribed burn which is only necessary due to development. Mega bucks homeowners are always having a fit over this even though they should not have built a mansion in the forest in the first place. The forest can't even maintain its own homeostasis due to our intervention with development. So just imagine what we have done to humans....

I can assure you your line in bold there is absolute horse shit and one propagated by parents who want there 'special one' to be special. With Aspergers. Most autism is not aspergers.
