Dim repression of your eyelids in the afternoon,
Seems to me,
That after tea,
The sun has been setting far too soon.

Stay awhile and stare with me,
At the blank spaces between our faces,
And tie with me the laces,
Of light sprouting from this spoon.

Please just take a sip with me and you'll be in,
A variety of pleasant places,
Between our faces,
When you look into my eyes.

I have forgotten what it was that I was going to say,
But there's no need to pay attention to that today.

Fade, fading away in the spades of the grass,
As they splay their faces in the breeze,
Icicles of air melting through our hair,
Despite of us it seems to pass with the uttermost of ease,
But our warmth we can share here in the freeze.

Just look at me,
And I'll look at you,
And that's all we'll ever have to do.

Yeah I can definitely relate to this experience, although it's been a long time between drinks. ;) These lines especially remind me of a certain altered state:

Fade, fading away in the spades of the grass,
As they splay their faces in the breeze,

I like the lines Raz highlighted too; so simple, but so eloquent.
