I know nothing about heroin and I'm planning on doing some (snorting) with a friend that knows nothing about it either. Can we be around people and act straight like on cocaine? How big of lines is a good dosage compared to lines of average cocaine?
 
For your first time do not take a "normal" line you would for cocaine... start with small bumps and work your way up to be safe. It is always wise to experiment with drugs in your privacy to get a feel for how they make you act in public.

You shouldn't be too bad if you go in public.. just have a few excuses ready as to why your chin is resting on your chest :D
 
You will likely get quite sick, and I wouldn't be surprised if you threw up. But then you'll feel good.

If you are buying standard size 10 bags start with a 1/4 and work up from there.

It's usually pretty easy for people to know you're nodding. Not only will your pupils likely get pinpointed, but there's just something about being on heroin that seems to broadcast itself.
 
Party with something else.
Heroin is a loner high , it is not fun socially, and people will just aggravate you.

Doing anything other than injecting is a waste.

If you have the nuts to start fucking with heroin, at least do it right. The way it was intended.

Youll more than likely find it too strong, too "thick" feeling and have to lay there and vomit for hours.

Most people either really like it , or never wanna do it again.

90 % Of my friends that tried it with me turned into junkies.

Id tell you to just blow the idea off. Isnt your life difficult enough without
waking up sick and needing to somehow scrounge 100 $ just to feel normal every day?

Yah heroin even changes my eye color from a brownish hazle to bright green. It changes the tone of your voice and makes you sound like you just woke up.

Gives you a sick pale look too. People will think you look sick.

But thats good dope. If you dont puke your ass off its not any good.
 
Im not....but if hes gonna do it anyway, thats the best way, and easiest on the body.

Well, don't compare the lines to cocaine at all. Coaine you sniff lines, while heroin u just sniff small little bumps of powder. NOt even a line. Start off very small I say, and work your way up. Sniff very tiny amount and wait 20 minutes. Sniff more, until you are at the point you like.

In general Yes. However, if your really fucked up your friends might think your super drunk or something. YOu will feel very nice. You can walk around and stuff, as long as you don't over do it.


One last thing. As with all drugs heroin is very addictive and I just thought I'd add my two cents. Its fun, but almost too fun. Have fun, lol
 
Sorry but i believe Methadones posts. But one thing I believe is that if the heroin is readily available, then it WILL become a problem. Certainly if it's cheap like where i'm from. My suggestion is don't do it. It almost ruined my life and i'm battling it right now. I never experienced anything like this before and i have done alot of different drugs. Heroin is the only one now....i don't even drink anymore.....If you have an addictive personality, then i would stay away.

yeah i mean it depends on the person my g/f and i have no problem keeping it at bay,i used ot have a habit i used to have a pretty harsh MSIR and actiq habit but once i met her i just get off on weekends and such. my roomate is the same way,he's done just about every drug and he has no problem keeping junk at bay. dont listen to methadone plenty of peple dont pick up a habit.....dont IV it your first timeyoull spend it all throwing up plus htere is a greater chance of messing up. snort samll little bumps wait ten min. or so. od it with a firned relax and watch the history channel or soemhting. i find that doign it with another H virgin makes i a bit easier to control doses. for me iv been through a IV habit iv done just about any dug you can mention and now that iv learned to control it i like itbetter hts way,and i also find it much easie r to stay strong after i know what to look for,i hope you never do thoguh.anoter good tip is to have a complicated hook-up.one that makes it a hassle to score.i guess my main point is yeah you could end up like methadone or you could end up like my g/f or i and prefer popping a couple perocets to bnging dope all day. but either way be preparedf for both adn relize the risk it is deft. there.

the only thing that keeps me from being an opioid addict [anymore/again] is the hassle [and cost]
 
Most people that try heroin don't become addicts, heroin won't ruin your life unless you let it ruin your life, and IVing heroin the first time is really bad advice. I would suggest not IVing it unless you either had some experience with heroin, or you were with someone that had experience with heroin.
 
I dont think I'm going to become addicted to it just from trying it. I just would like to see what the experience is like. I've heard its one of the most dangerous and addictive drugs out there. I've did alot of other drugs and never became addicted to them. I really dont know if im goin to like it that much, because of the puking, but oh well, im trying it anyway. Erowid.org says the high last 4-5 hours from injecting, what about snorting?
 
^Twig, where did you hear that most ppl who try it dont become addicts. I am sure your're right.


This confirms what you say but is also a tad scary. I read 25% of ppl who try it do become addicts. This is in the UK and is worked out by ppl who attend NHS clinics, bearing in mind that the ppl who dont attend clinics or who are private dont count in these stats, thus making the figure much higher than 25%. Even at 25% this is very high.
 
First and most important: You need to educate yourself about Heroin! It is very dangerous to mess with when you have a lack of knowledge. I would not recomend your first time be IV. You can do a number of very bad things to yourself up to and including death. If you have a friend who is an experienced user than have them be with you for the first time. Do not do this alone.

Go to http://www.erowid.com/ or http://www.heroinhelper.com/ for information on this drug. Both these sights have very good information. But do not stop there keep looking.

Heroin is a powerful drug that produces incredible pleasure. It should be treated with both respect and caution. Used properly and with an eye for safety it can be a safe drug. It is almost the same as morphine which doctors prescribe for pain so if you have used morphine before than you know what it will be like.

My best advice is to just pass up on this drug because addiction and dependence on it is a possibility and a living hell.
 
I gotta say, I'm surprised that so many people think it's so easy for people to not notice you're high.

Anyone who knew me well could tell almost instantly whether or not I was high. I don't know whether that was because the knew I did do junk, and were watching for it or what, but their comments were usually along the line of, "You just don't look like your normal self."

They always mentioned my voice was different, and my body language was way different. I guess it's one of those YMMV things.
 
for the first time, from my experience, i would think the puking, the insecent talking with the raspy voice followed by the get away or nodding out period, the pin point pupils, the antisocial nature, the itching and so on would give it away that something was up. not like someone on the street without knowledge is going to walk by you and automatically know what your on and everything... but being in social contact with friends, other users or even just other drug users might raise some questions as to what exactly youve taken to make you look and act the way you will be
