Trying to see if there's a constant or predicable rate or percentage of the normal dose needed to stay out of withdrawal etc.
Only reason I specify prescription opioids is because if you're on heroin or street fent etc you don't have any accurate way to measure how much you're taking
For example, for me:
Opioid: Morphine
I'm prescribed 80mg/day and usually take roughly double that
I've worked out by experimenting recently that 50mg/day is the minimum amount I need to make it through the day feeling okay. Not feeling GOOD, but not suffering at all.
40mg is probably the minimum to not be SICK sick...like on 40mg/day I'm having a bad time with diarrhoea, boredom, aching etc, but it isn't the HELL of full-blown wd
And anything less than 30mg maybe and it's full on WD.
So if I'd put it at
I take 150-250mg for 7-9 days and then try and get a minimum need of 50mg the rest of the 14 days to my new meds.
I can sometimes get some MSContin 60s*, so often end up only stuck taking the 50mg min for like 3 days.
*Much less often now, though as the neighbour he used to give me them has moved away and we can't meet up for a "date" as often**
