In my mind. The choices are many, the consequences
Sorry guys!! But I was readin online and I have 2, maybe 3, questions.
1. I read where 60% of the drug, unused, is excreated in urine. Does that mean only 40% gets in your system and does it's thing? If so, what would be the best ROA?
2. I've read the LD50 is 85 mg/kg on one site and 465 mg/kg on another. Pretty big difference. Anyone actually know?

1. No :) How much is excreted unchanged is completely unrelated to how much is absorbed. Some drugs are filtered out by the kidneys and excreted as they are, some are metabolised first (usually by the liver) and many are a mix - so with clonidine, after it is absorbed 40% is metabolised into something else (no idea what, sometimes metabolites are active, sometimes they are inactive) and 60% is removed by the kidneys as it is. I don't know about the best ROA - it depends on bioavailability, so if you come up with any figures for that online then that will tell you.

2. No idea sorry, that is a big difference but LD50s are not the most reliable of numbers anyway..

Not sure of either, but I do know that if you take too much you are at risk for a hypotensive crisis (low BP crisis). This is not good. It is easier to lower a BP than to increase a BP in an emergency room setting. Keep your doses low, and monitor your BP carefully and frequently.

Ahh crap! Haven't even thought of it bc I just started takin it like last week and fiance puts my meds together in a box BUT I'm on Lisipril, BP med for my kidneys. My BP is already bout 90/60. And cue panic attack. I won't be takin my meds tonight, even if that means stayin up all night.
Damn. Bye-bye Clonidine, it was fun while it lasted.

I don't get how clonidine is "fun", even though it might help with your anxiety and such. But yeah, gobbling clonidine while already on Lisinprol is not a good idea. 90/60 is quite low. I wouldn't be worried about having that BP, but I wouldn't be taking clonidine if I did.
