More Americana I think. What does anybody else think about the mushroom cloud of genres which has just exploded from basic country and western, rock, pop, top 40 & so many subgenres that it’s crazy… I don’t know when that even happened but if you go look up a song now it’s going to be in several categories some of which I still haven’t even heard of. There’s a lot of Genres and Subgenres that I haven’t yet heard esp in tge metal arena - at least modern metal - like that new metal and when I say new metal that’s one right there NU METAL … may even have umlauts. That was quite the interesting read about why bands add all of the symbology found in diff or even archaic languages.
