Could you die from snorting an OC40 with no tolerance?

Dude, I honestly don't think you will necessarily puke. You're on Klonopin, which for me anyways, is the most effective anti-nauseant on earth. Plus, I have done SO MUCH OxyContin and have never even gotten a hint of nausea. I blow 80-160mg at once, tolerance or not. I have no tolerance and just did an 80 at once the other day. I'm not knocking anyone, I just have never gotten sick at all from it. Just ended up nodding off in stupid places and acting INSANELY fucked up.
 
I was 180lbs the 1st time i did a 40, i was nodding in and out and getting apnea, waking up when I would pause breathing, someone much smaller than me I would say could die.

40mgs at once for a first timer is a hefty dose. you wont OD from it, but you will be sick as hell, high as a kite too. taking too much of an opiate when you are new to them makes the experience less fun, throwing up isnt pleasant, and when you are too high on opiates its common to throw up like mad. maybe it hits me more than others, but to this day if i do too much dope, i always throw up a few times. it feels like my stomach gets really acidic or something...

but yea, start with like 20, and even then, do it slow. i remember when a 5mg perc would make me feel good....not high, but i could actually feel it. ahhh the good ol days.

Holy shit. Maybe I'm a freak. The only opiate/opioid that makes me sick is hydrocodone, and that's at like 100-200mg, no tolerance. OC has never made me sick. It made my little bro sick the next morning 2 out of the 3 times he's done it, though.
 
I'm scared of a 40mg despite it being safe, because the most hydro I've ever taken is 45mg at once, and 40mg OC = 60mg hydro.
 
there was a thread back in the day by a (nameless) OD mod who was shooting opiate virgins up with 80s. he had Narcan on stand by -- just in case -- but he never had to use it....or so he claimed. titrating up is always the smartest thing. start small.
 
A little off topic, but several years ago I had a slight tolerance to hydrocodones. It took about 30 mg for me to get off really well. At that time, I crushed up a 20 mg oxycontin (it was a small round yellow one, I was told it was 20 mg, I'm assuming that it in fact was) and snorted the whole thing over the course of a half hour. I didn't get off AT ALL. Is this normal?
 
I want to bump this one more time to make sure 40mg at once will be fine.

I know everyone but one guy said I'll be fine, but the most oxy I've taken/my regular dose is 30mg of percocet (which doesn't really make me nod).

Perhaps even though 30mg oxy = 45mg hydro, it isn't as sedative, or it's only 2:3 in terms of painkilling effects?

I'm a bit scared though because I got flanging when I took 30mg oxy, if only for a bit (although I did smoke some weed with it, these days I'm a purist and only take my drugs without weed).

When I first tried OxyContin I was an opiate virgin and sniffed a 20 mg.

I was puking a number of times but besides that it was the best in the world. I think upgraded to IV heroin and everything eventually but now I'm clean over 4 months thanks to Suboxone.
 
Yes, a friend who was prety small and smoked only weed - completely opiate virgin - did not chew or crush an oc 20 and was dizzy as hell after puking up all stomache contents.

Opiate virgins will be euphoric after snorting a 10, why even bother with 80?
 
I'm not really a virgin, it takes me 40-45mg hydro to get off, but 40mg oxy is = 60mg hydro, and that's a damn lot.

Just wanted to mention, the amounts listed are very incorrect. The lethal dosage for barbiturates differ a enormous lot, depending on which one it is. While phenobarbital might not be lethal at even 1.000-1.500mg, hexobarbital can be lethal at as low as 150mg. Pure amphetamine certainly isn't lethal at 1.000mg, probably not even to a small child. I have regularly snorted over a gram of 100% pure amphetamine sulphate without any tolerance and I was fine, and I don't weigh much either, just 55kg.
 
yeah i was going to say that list is incorrect. in addition to the criticisms you listed, cannabis and other hallucinogens are toxic, especially the phenyl ones i believe. they might even be more toxic than caffeine, i certainly wouldn't take 100 doses of mescaline at once.
 
Wow, it's been 15 min. since I snorted it and it feels like only 25-30mg of hydrocodone.

Should it take longer than 15 min. to fully hit snorted?
