Could use some help with shrooms?

Hello guys,
Just wanting someone to give me some information or know a good site with some information with help on picking?
I have taken shrooms and other phsycadelics in the past.
But never bin picking myself i've been told its the season in the UK.
And just don't know the difference in the right ones and was wondering could anyone help me i'm wanting to go picking in the morning !
And live in the yorkshire moors if anyone can point out in what areas to look.

You could go to shroomery.org, but I wouldn't recommend you go out picking. If you're not an expert on identifying mushroom species then it's unwise to go out picking.
 
I know but everyone starts somewhere any ideas on where I can get decent information i've tried Google but no luck.
 
If your gonna do this, find somebody who has at least some experience. Cause otherwise your gonna pick a whole bunch of lookalikes and make yourself ill.

Once you've been a couple times with somebody who knows their shit, identifying them is simples.
 
Libs are quite easy to identify based on the mushrooms approximate size, appearance and growth location. Check the shroomery, in the UK theres no dangerous lookalikes so you don't need years of education about mushrooms
 
yes it is Liberty cap season in the UK !

look for the mushrooms with the nipple on the top, that bruise blue after they are picked. they tend to crop up after it has rained alot

I Like how the guy ignores 8 or so posts telling him not to do this, then agrees with the one post telling him to do it. -.-

They are easy to identify yes, when you know what to look for. There may not be any lookalikes that'll poison you, but they can make you sick at least. imagine that when tripping!

& LOL that guy in the video does the same as me, pop em in a bag of crisps! (and munch on the way back to civilisation :D)
 
While I would never advise you pick and eat unless you're very, very sure the tip I have heard from a few good sites aforementioned are:

The psychedelic ones usually bleed blueish. Although there is a lot more to it than that. Also heard white mushrooms are usually the most deadly ones to eat. But those are just generalities. Wouldn't do anything without a lot more research.
