If one were to order a supply of generic Alprazolam from an un-named Indian pharmacy, would it be normal for them to ship it via registered letter? My friend had ordered 200 alprazolam's (Xanax) from this same source a couple of months ago and it was delivered in a yellow envelope, and nobody had to sign for it. This time, said friend ordered 400 pills, and got the slip saying that the registered letter could be picked up at his local post office tomorrow. Does this sound normal to you guys? Could my friend wind up getting arrested down at the post office after he signs for the letter?
 
This cost $220, so I don't think he would want to forfeit the letter, but I just wanted to verify that this isn't a common trap.
 
Ok, if theyre sending 400 pills in an envelope, how are the pills contained?? Would it be obvious to the mail people that they contain drugs from india??? Thats the first thing I d ask... I doubt he will get in trouble though, I dont think theyd waste a bunch of time with one guy with 400pills.
 
Rule #1 when arranging a purchase of an illegal substance:
"If It Feels Wrong, Walk Away."
Something about this is different this time around - and that difference means he has to appear in person to receive it.
If your friend is willing to risk arrest over $220, he should maybe stick to buying from a local dealer, because he's just not that bright.
 
You can't be arrested for simply receiving a package, or not in any cases I've heard of... I doubt signing for a "mystery package" makes it different.
 
They ship your order in a manilla type envelope. The prior shipment came with the pills in a styrofoam blister pack, a rather unique setup. The blister packs were hidden in some indian newspaper. On the "sorry we missed you" slip left by the deliveryman, on the "sender's name" part, it says Foreign. My friend might chance it and pick up the letter, although he'll be nervous as hell.
 
If you think you can't get arrested for signing for a "mystery package," then you are badly, badly mistaken. Once you sign for it, you are responsible for whatever it may contain, whether or not you claim to have known what was in there when you signed for it.
 
Guess I'm wrong then. You can't get in trouble for receiving a package on your doorstep without signing though, right?
 
Pretty sure I know who your talking about, I have never had a problem before and I have recieved my fair share of registered letters.
I am not sure if this makes a big diffy, but if your still unsure, when you get it, write "return to sender" on it in a good black marker and throw it in your back seat for a while.
If it was intercepted via customs, you'll get a seizure letter you can safely pitch and forget.
 
Why does it matter if you sign for it or not? True if you sign for them they know you in fact possessed them at some time. However, this is hardly usefull. When you sign for a package you don't acknowledge you are responsible and aware of its contents only that you recieved it.
"Your honor I opened up the package and saw a bunch of pills. It must have been a mistake so I threw them out."
In other words you signing for the package is only additional evidence that the delivery guy really delivered it. Going in is irrelevant as long as you aren't dumb.
They probably want to warn you how serious an offense it is, and the remote possibility of getting you to admit to it being your package. If they ask you did you order anything from india say "I don't remember." If you want to try to stay on good terms maybe say, "I order stuff on the internet alot, I never really pay attention to where it is from."
More likely this is just one of those normal yellow slips that they give out when the sender forgot to check signature not required.
 
dude, don't worry abouy it. there's nothing wrong with signing for a package.
either it gets nabbed by customs and you get a note saying it was seized... or it comes through. having to sign for it is not a big deal at all.
 
Homeboy - That's untrue. The police have made postal pickup arrests in the past - most notably for Ketamine. And certain countries/companies are on watch lists.
Do a little searching and you'll find case histories. Ask around on the Hive.

You got a delievery card on your door - you know what, thats a sure sign of one thing - YOU WERE NOT HOME WHE NTHEY ATTEMPTED DELIEVERY SO YOU MUST GO TO THE POST OFFICE AND PICKUP YOUR PACKAGE!
Have you never actually had anything shipped to you via this new service offered by the government, it's parcel post, they actually deliever packages to your residence, well, if you're not home then they couldn't jsut leave the package at your door as long as it's sent with delievery confirmation, registered, etc - someone has to sign for it so they must have you cruise down to the post office for that reason...
Now I know that you might think there is a fully assembeled SWAT team down at ye local post office - sorry, this isn't the case.. you're not smuggling legs of heroin into the US, it's not like they just poped a container with 11,000 pounds of cocaine addressed to you, no, we are talking about a small amount of some C-IV drugs, these are sold with about as much control as chewable vitamins in many countries ..
So go to the post office and sign for your package, you're not going to get arrested .. I alwyas loved comming home to find those little cards because it means the fucking things were delievered and not siezed by customs!
 
Thanks for the advice. You put me, I mean my friend at ease ;) I'll just go down to the post office and pick the damn thing up, I don't know why I was so worked up about it in the first place. So I assume the package will be there at 9am tomorrow, according to the card. The delivery guy won't put it back on his truck and try and deliver it again I hope.......... well at least tomorrow I should be home all day if that's the case, but I'll run to the post office first thing in the morning.

It's taken care of, I went down to the post office and picked the envelope up, no problems whatsoever. I guess my paranoia level was set too high :) Those Indians are great as far as packaging goes, very discreet. A couple people emailed me asking for the URL which I cannot give out (I already said this in my first post too).
 
I am with Phreex on this one. A friend of mine has gotten packages like this from foreign countries(including India) many times. If the package actually makes it to your PO, then you are safe unless it is a Scheduele 1 drug. I know someone that tried to import several hundred MS Contin's at one time and only had a seizure letter when confinscated. Although, I did read an article about someone that had been receiving several hundred vials of K at a time(on a weekly basis) that got busted because of a nosy mailman. So I wouldn't be getting shipments of blister packs(rattle-rattle) more than once a month, just to be safe. Of course, this is all coming from my friend, although my friend is very trustworthy. And no, my friend isn't interested in telling you where to go about finding sources, either, so don't bother trying to get me to ask him.
 
I'd imagine they have a less cavalier attitude towards ketamine than benzos/opiates because K is a "club drug" and "the new extasy".
 
well, any "smart" foreign supplier takes the tabs OUT of blister packs if thats what they are usually packaged in and they send the tabs LOOSE...tablets are very easy to hide, and easy to package...
thinking just because something is not as illegal as COCA will not get you busted u are dead wrong..i know of people busted receiving tiny amounts of steroids, viagra, clenbuterol..their doors wrere torn down and they were arrested...
i wouldnt advise anyone ordering stuff from foreign dealers..its to risky and it isnt worth it...is 100 tablets of who knows what worth the exposure in the media, the court/lawyer payoff etc etc??i dont think so...too many local guys have the exact stuff ya want, just look around..
 
If you're ordering pharmacuticals then you really dont have much anything to worry about - yeah, ketamine or morphine might be tightly controlled drugs, but customs siezes WAYYY to many packages full of that shit to bother taking everyone to court over a few vials of ketmaine, it would also be a bitch to make the charges stick.. hell, even C-I drug seizures are usually just ignored if the amount is small - I know several people that have had 10-packs (ecstasy) taken and they were only sent the same form many of us were ..
Also, keep this ON TOPIC, you can make a smart ass reply if you want, but you must ALSO ad something that contributes to the thread .. continue responding with nothing but stupid remarks and you may find yourself banned!
