I recently found some of the roxicet 325mg/5mg

could someone use these intravenously? I know the regular roxis have no problem doing that. But Im wondering if these you cant since it as some tylonal in them.

I don't think it's a good idea, IVing any amount of APAP (even after a cold water extraction you technically still have some APAP left, and you would lose some of that oxycodone in the process) could cause serious problems.

You would want to micron filter it either way, as there are lots of binders and other things you don't want to IV in the pill besides the Tylenol/APAP.

I'm not very experienced with IVing, so maybe somebody with a better answer can confirm/deny what I'm saying here.

buttt.....

What APAP? and what do you mean by micron filer?

Of course IVing anything is a "bad idea" but what im asking is if its still "do-able"

^The fact that you're asking these questions should give you your answer.

Check out the links in my signature line below, specifically 'IV MT' and 'Micron Filter MT.' The first threads explains a lot of the risks and the second thread shows what micron filters AR and how to use them.

To echo what has already been said, you should NOT shoot these. APAP means acetaminophen, and these pills have much more binder and filler in them, which can deposit in your lungs, clog vessels, etc.

You could IV hand soap if you want, it's 'do-able' but there would be severe consequences.

Yeah, you're definitely too naive to even consider IVing those pills. Even me being an IV drug user wouldn't even consider IVing pills with APAP in them. Too much work with waaaaaaaaay too much risk. The reward isn't worth the risk.

Just do a CWE and drink the solution, or better yet, plug it.

APAP = Tylenol, Paracetamol, or Acetaminophen. It is a very common NSAID pain reliever that is included in many opiate pain pills. It is extremely toxic to the liver at high enough doses (approx 4000mg a day, depending on many factors, could be a lot less if you're consuming it daily, with alcohol, etc).

CWE = Cold Water Extraction <--- click the link to learn about CWE, it will save your life if you take a lot of opiate analgesics that contain APAP in the pill

Micron Filters Information <--- everything you could need to know about using micron filtration to make your pills safe to shoot. Please read, very important and useful information on that thread as well...

You can IV APAP. See a study where they tested the efficacy and safety for adults and children.

The reason we advise people to not shoot these types of pills is because it will be very unsafe without the use of a micron filter.

You would want to micron filter it either way, as there are lots of binders and other things you don't want to IV in the pill besides the Tylenol/APAP.

This is the correct thing, that there are worse things than the APAP.

With a cold water extraction (merely setting up the shot with a minimal amount of cold water, cotton filtering, then micron filtering) much of the APAP will not be absorbed; whatever amount is absorbed is correlated to the temperature of the water and how much water you used. APAP is less soluble in more cold water. However, the more water you use (you will need a lot for 5/325 tablets, they are enormous), the more APAP you absorb.

You will need to do the math if you are to do this, to ensure you are not IVing too much APAP.

However, knowing the odds that you have never used a micron filter (if you don't know what it is, check out the last link in my signature), this is completely unsafe to attempt IVing otherwise, so you should take these orally if at all.
