Could smoking stems get you high?

Well I'm outta bud and I'm too high to go get more, all i have is a few stems from the dank bud I got. Could I smoke it? will it do anything?
 
If the bud was really really good, you might feel something because there may be (a small amount of) THC in the stems...but I'm not promising anything...
 
There is some uses for stems.. Making hash with an abundance or cannibutter, or just simply making kif, but it sounds like you dont have enough for these methods.. looks like you might have to scrape some resin .. ;]
 
Its more worth it to save them for pot hot chocolate or green dragon. but as long as there is THC on the stem, you'll get high.
 
A few? Doubtful. I've done that before when I've been dry and all I got from it was a light, short-lived (around a minute) buzz. They weren't pleasant to smoke either. Save your stems up until you've got enough to fill a jar and do an ISO extraction or something.
 
stems give me a headache. they're really harsh not very potent. but yeah, you can smoke them.

Exactly! If I were you I'd start saving your stems like I have been. Once you have a ton of them you can make weed tea or like brownies or some shit. Smoking stems will give yyou a little buzz, but more of a head ache if you ask me .
 
At least over here stems are legal in the UK afaik.

I'm pretty sure we've been over this before, the prohibited substance is "cannabis or cannabis resin", and there's certainly no explicit exemption for stems.

OP, you are going to struggle to smoke enough stems to get a decent high.
 
take a magifier and look at a bud (when you get one)..then look at a stem....see the difference?..

I've been led to believe cannabis stems and cannabis roots aren't strictly illegal in the UK. It's pretty much the same thing with seeds produced by the pollenated flowers as well.

Cannabis is pretty much considered to be 'hemp' under UK law afaik (if you grow a hemp plant you can be convicted of cultivation/production/possession unless you have a license). However, stems/stalks used to make fibre for clothes/ropes are not illegal to possess. It's the same with the psychoactive cannabis. It's a bit of a grey area admittedly though apparently.

If you want a source to confirm this I can try emailing a legal expert I know who might be able to help, but it'll take a while since I wouldn't mind just verifying it if I can.

I'm not a legal expert and this is only second hand info, so you might be right. I'll try and find out.

Don't smoke or vape stems if you care about your lungs, that shit sounds harsh as hell.

If you have a bunch of stems then you can grind them up real fine and make pot food, it works pretty well if they're from good weed.
 
Get yourself a re-usable coffee filter or a grinder with a kief screen and shake your stems for kief, then save them and throw them in when you make cannabutter. Making tea with stems works pretty well, too.
