After 4 weeks you could possibly just jump off the Clonazepam depending on what doses you've been taking and the regularity you've been taking it (Everyday or not etc?)

Alprazolam would be a poor choice of Benzo to use to taper off Clonazepam as Xanax is short acting. Best bet would be Diazepam (Valium)

No absolutely not unless you're willing to take it one time a day because it's a shorter half life the high won't last or effects so you'll have to take it a few times a day kpin one a day is good cause it's 18-50 hours half life Xanax is like 6-12 Valium is 50-150 so you want Valium probably like that guy said

Definitely not. You don't taper from a longer acting benzo with a benzo that has a very short half life. You would need diazepam, it is the standard for tapering.

When i'm at the pysch hospital changing meds they always give me diazepam to handle the withdrawal from what ever medication i'm stopping. But if i stop taking the diazepam too soon i feel suicidal
