Could I Be Experiencing Acid Flashbacks?

Yo. I may be experiencing acid flashbacks, i was wondering if anyone has any information, or any input on the situation.

When i was on LSD for the 1st time, it was about 3 years ago. We camped out on a farmers field, pretty much in the middle of nowhere so it was kinda eerie/scary when we started tripping. Mist and thick fog covered the fields, you could barely see further than a few foot infront of you in the early hours of the morning as it was pitch black.
It was probably about 4 hours into the trip, me and my mate were tripping hard. We both seemed to get a similar feeling, well at the time it felt asif he was having the exact same feeling as me, but thinking about it that's not necessarily the case.

I had this horrible feeling, panicking, absolutley confused. Kinda like a worst case scenario feeling. I cant recall how long it lasted but we were basically frantically worrying about something but we didnt really know what. It cant of lasted longer than a few minutes, then again, maybe 20 - 30mins max.

Ever since this trip, i have had this feeling, only for a split second though. It could come at any random time, however not too often, but every now and again. I dont think ive experienced this kind of feeling before the trip.

And on other occasions, only after being up for a couple of days on drugs, i have fallen asleep and woken up experiencing this feeling, but it would always be with a dream and i would sleepwalk. This has happened 2 or 3 times, one time where i woke up literally screaming, having some weird fucked up dream, but experiencing this feeling. I only remember one of the dreams that went with this feeling, and it didnt even make sense. It was somthing to do with i was on a planet, but a small planet, floating in space, and there was another planet with my dog on it or somthing floating a little way away. I woke up standing on my landing and my mum shaking me, confused as hell trying to figure out whats going on. I can vaiguely remember coming round, and this feeling of terror (the acid feeling) wearing off.

Anyway. Anyone think it could be an acid flashback, or that this has directly stemmed from the LSD trip?

I'm obviously not looking for a definative answer here guys, just a few opinons or thoughts.

And apolagies for any typo's, mistakes or bad grammer in this thread, i'm pretty stoned and can be unknowingly quite sloppy at typing when im stoned!

Nice oneeeee.

This would probably be better suited for BDD or the psychadelics forum. you'll get more replies. let a mod move it or something

Sounds like the LSD possibly brought to the surface some issue that hasn't been resolved and is still lingering? Judging from your dream description, seems as though it's some fear of been alone or left behind/abandoned/separation.

Then again, it could be completley unrelated to your past use of LSD.

its going to be difficult for a bunch of drug users to diagnose your problem when all you said is you "had this feeling." its hard to describe your own feelings, let alone understand someone elses. and no, that is not a flashback.

.

Thanks deez_nuggs, good job i'm not asking for diagnostics then isnt it otherwise your comment may of been valid. And i'm sure theres more to this forum than 'a bunch of drug users'.

That sounds very much like a panic attack to me.

my thoughts on the matter: No. These are not acid flashbacks at all. However, to claim that the LSD had no part in this what-so-ever would be a silly thing to do. For example, like mala said, LSD could have brought about something that has caused all of this. Whether it be a past issue in your life, or maybe something different about you than other people (which most people will call "something wrong with you")
LSD is said to be able to trigger things such as schizophrenia, naturally it's rather ironic that LSD was previously used as a treatment for the very thing it is said to be able to trigger. Now, LSD can also be used for such things as anxiety, be it social or otherwise. So I don't believe it's a stretch to say that the LSD could have triggered some kind of chronic anxiety, because I agree with Roger&me on this one: it sounds like a panic attack.
Now if you're looking for some kind of way to fix it my opinion is this: go to a doctor, talk to them and ask what they think, because while at bluelight we may not be "a bunch of drug users" but we are certainly not Psychologists (well some of us may be, can't say for sure). Another opinion from me as far as a solution to this is MDMA, it's a powerful tool that can help a lot with dealing with things that you fear, LSD may also help.
Please note that I am not telling anyone to do drugs, this would be bad. I'm simply stating my personal opinion on the matter, like was asked.

Yep, I've started getting them since acid. Mostly on psychedelics or getting high (especially mixing the two) Panic or anxiety attacks though it always feels like much more.
