could ephedrine cause a false positive for ritalin?

So I took some ritalin a few weeks ago, and it came up positive in my IOP drug test. I told them it was from Bronkaid (ephedrine) that I take for my asthma. Is it likely that theyll believe this, or will they know that its not true? I know they use REALLY good drug tests (even test for DXM and shit) and they said Ritalin specifically, not just amphetamine. Do you think that theyll buy the ephedrine thing or they wont believe it? If not, ill come clean and tell them before they say anything I guess. Does anyone know?
 
Sorry, no drug testing questions. Please re-read the BDD guidelines. Oh, and if you're going to have to take drug tests, it's probably best to avoid drugs. Closed.
