Cost of a drug keepin you from doin it?

Is there any drug that cost stops you from doin? do you think youd be usin it more often if it was cheaper/do you use it when its free?

I kno I cant really afford to do oxy, the diff. between the cost for a good oxy dose and a good diesel dose is nutz....20 bucks (3 bags) would give me a bangin rush in a shot , super high (Got to love the low tolernace) and to get that high on oxy would def cost me over 100 dollars.

I remember not doin acid in the past becuz ppl was chargin ridiculous amounts n i wasnt beat for that . only diff is at least you dont get sick off not doin acid like u do for oxy so its kinda easier to turn down.

that's usually the only thing that stops me from buying a fat sac of bud is the price :\ i don't have any "hookups" so to say so it's always the flat prices around my area if i want any bomb chrondaliza spice.
 
Yeah, you pretty much have to pay what they ask here. Got a call for Vicodin at $10 a pop. Are you kidding me? But the kid has been known to double prices cuz he needs the money. Eh, I don't need the stuff anyway. :)

As for the original question, I don't think I've ever turned down doing drugs because of the price. But where I am from, drugs are for the most part moderately priced (I live like 30min from Mexico so that probably has something to do with it) and I've always had the cash so I didn't care. They only drug where I have been apprehensive about the price is acid. $15 for a hit of acid is pretty ridiculous but in my mind if two of them would at the very least cause ten hours of entertainment, its worth it. But I guess thats why people can charge that much for it (and I've actually heard about people buying hits for $25 each).
 
Well dow here in Argentina back in my junkie days I had the same problem yo do but vthe other way round a bottle of 30 OC 40mg pills costed me $150 (or ¤6 if buying only a few piolls), whilst heroin was $150 a gram, it was GREAT stuff from colombia, straight fingers and bricks to be smuggled to the us. Thing was I had to buy 2 grams at a time minimum. so for $300 I could have 2grams of heroin or 2,40gr of oxycodone....I reselled bthe stuff and pawned,stole,was an asshole but had to keep my monkey and I wanted H at the time I started IVing...the rest is pretty cheap now I'm prescribed more stuff and insurance covers 40%, but in the pqast I didn't do hydrocodone cuzit was $30 for 75mg , now I pay like 17bucks for 15 5mgs qalll legal at the phyarmacia.
 
The last time I called my guy for oxy he told me $1 mg, but I told him he was crazy. 3 weeks later, I walk into rehab thats hundreds of miles away from where we leave and guess who I see? My dealer.
 
cocaine is always pricey, so i never do it. I had a pretty good hook-up before and would spend like my whole paycheck on it. He gave me roughly a 20% discount compared to the norm. so it's kinda funny. if prices dropped just a little, i would spend all my money on it, but at these prices, i never buy any.
 
I suppose so. Like with certain psychedelics I can't afford them all I want is a taste, but instead I have to buy the whole goddamn farm.

Stupid.

I was arguing about this in another thread - drugs being illegal leads to much higher prices, which theoretically leads to less drug use among the population. There are some statistics out there showing this, I wish I didn't sell my Psychology 503 Drug USe and Effects book.

I used to spend so much fuckin money on painkillers. That was when it was 3 stones for a 7.5 hydrocodone, 4 stones for a 10 mg hydro, and just 10 stones (!!) for a 100 mg morphine, and other good prices.

Eventually the dealers went up to 5 rocks across the board for hydro and oxy, and 20 for a morphine, and I just can't pay that much for opiates anymore. Coke is another thing I never got into because of the price.

I honestly think that if we as drug buyers weren't so fucking greedy, the prices would stay low.
 
Maybe...but often people need money to buy their own drugs. I don't think prices would keep addicts from using, maybe the causal user, but we all know that its not beyond an addict to beg, borrow and steal to get their fix.
 
It wouldn't keep existing addicts from using, but it would (in theory) prevent substance abuse and dependence in general, and lead to fewer future addicts compared to if drugs were legal and super cheap.

The main problem with drug laws is that they aren't systematic, they are a sorry patchwork in response to public outcries. If they weren't like this I would agree with drug laws. Mandatory minimum is bullshit, too. Marijuana is about the only illegal thing (just about, IMO) that could be legalized and not harm the population.
 
Drugs are pretty pricey over here, but it's still worth it.

What's expensive are the extractions. There are a lot of extractions I would LOVE to do, but they are just waay too costly! And definitely not worth the effort if you only want to try it...
 
With drug prices here, i generally avoid all powders bar special occasions.

Only thing im happy to fork out money for is K.

yes: heroin - sure its cheaper than oxy/roxi's etc. but it ends up costing you so much more long term (drug addicts usually dont think long term hehs). then again i've never touched H myself, just seen this happen countless times to good friends and acquaintances.
 
Cocaine, and lately Ketamine because my tolerance has soared, and K tolerance seems to be permanent for me.
 
Dope used to be nutty expensive where I was living before ($20-$25, even $30, for a bag, $150-$200 for a bundle, 3 for $50/$150/bundle meant you were HOOKED UP, yes, a waxed bag that's under $10 downstate/jersey). Didn't stop many of us 8) but christ did it put a dent in wallets
 
research chems...they are so rare that the prices are insane...jesus fucking christ...its a intermediatly hard chemical synthesis, and lots of them are not illegal here...so why the prices so high?

GTFO you price gouging small batch snth labs...I can order just as complex of chemcials for like 1/500th the price if they're not "entheogens" and just some random reagent or industral chemical.
