Is the correct way to let it dissolve under your toungue completely or to eventually swallow thanks for replies

Well considering "Sublingual" means "under the tongue" in Latin, it means let it dissolve completely.

What is BA?

SL or sublingual does mean "to place under tongue" as world war me stated. The correct way to take something SL would be to follow whatever the directions say. Sometimes it will specify to hold under tongue for so long and then swallow but otherwise it would be as stated above, until completely dissolved.

let it dissolve and don't swallow for 15-20 minutes is best for most drugs.
Some work more quickly however, like melatonin I believe is maybe 5 minutes

If your mouth is dry it can take bloody ages to dissolve; it once too me over 50 minutes to dissolve 6mg.(very annoying as you can't talk without the risk of losing some drug). So I chew gum before my dose to get the old saliva levels up, and the bupe dissolves rapidly.

BTW what drug are you taking SL, OP; I didn't see you specify that.....
