Correct pain management?

Hello, I just joined and I have several questions. Before I registered, i was reading a thread about morphine and it making someone sick. Someone else responded that they might want to "plug" it. What is plugging?

Secondly, the person who sold me this morphine pill, 60 mg., suggested that I lick the coating off and break it in half. She wasn't sure I should take it all at once.

I am used to taking 5-500 hydrocodone pills for some broken bones that never healed properly, and also I frequently take Fiorinal. So do you think the 60 mg would be too much? Apparently she can get this for me on a regular basis and it is cheaper than the other 2. I don't have health insurance and I do need pain medication.

2: plugging is the act of injecting liquid form medications into the rectum. rectal administration often has higher bioavailabilty than other routes of administration and is useful when taking medications orally is not an option (for example: it causes an individual to become sick).

3: we're going to need some more in depth information before any advice can be given:

-what is your current opiate tolerance like?
(how often do you use, how high do you dose, how many times do you dose per day, how long have you been using, what route of administration do you use, etc.)
-have you ever used morphine before?
-what opiates are you using/have you used in the past?
(in what doses, how do/did they effect you, etc)

Thanks. I have to take 2 of the 5-500 hydrocodone pills to tell I've taken anything. If I weren't trying to hang onto my pills I could easily take 4. I am currently taking 2 5-500 hydrocodone pills 3x a day. I have been on that dosage for 3 years.

I know you're not medical professionals...I just want your opinion. I appreciate your time.
