When you were initially guessing his age, I thought you were trying to say something about his ignorance towards DXM, not the fact that he was using it; and while it is probably true that the a good number of DXM users are teens who do it for its availability, I would say that most of them are only looking for a way to get fucked up, and don't really understand how to explore the DXM headspace. When I wrote that report, I was 14 going on 15 and I had researched DXM extensively prior to ever putting it in my body. I was (and still am) an avid psychonaut who had a serious interest in dissociatives.

When I said that it was "an insult to 15 year olds", I was being partially sarcastic and going off the fact that I wrote (in my opinion anyway) a much more coherent DXM report when I was around that age. Also, try and remember that not every story is the same, DXM was not the first psych that I used (LSD and mushrooms came first), and I used it to experience a truly separated mind and body (and still do to this day). I don't really have much room to talk because I'm not all that much older now (17), but I will say that DXM is a wonderful dissociative when used appropriately. If you want to experience something truly breathtaking, I would recommend DXM+psilocybin or DXM+LSD.

Anyway, hope I cleared up that misunderstanding.:)
 
I seriously hope this is one long elaborate troll post, if not it represents the absolute worst of druggie culture, if you can call kids who shoplift DXM druggies.
 
about the senior health class comment, no i havent graduated, not really that close to graduating. But in my school im not suire for others but ur allowed to take senior health class and get it out of the way. i took it in 9th grade and thats about how i learned about it, and of course i looked at the back of the box lmao, in coricidin cough and cold there is 30mg of dxm, and i believe 4 cpm, not completly sure about cpm but i know id only be a couple numbers off. I did study DXM but hey information on the internet is not always correct. drug councellers werent even able to tell me alot about DXM tripping. Idk why but no offence to my old drug counceller but how could u not know about DXM tripping when your a drug counceller. SHE NEVER EVEN HEARD OF IT! alot of help she was >,>

You obviously didn't look very far. A few things you may want to look into: erowid.org, dextroverse.org, and William White's DXM FAQ just to name a few. You will find everything you ever wanted to know about DXM (and much much more).

i'd think most people dont think of guzzling cough medicine as a means to get high
OTC cough remedy no equals a good way to trip
and yes, i've tried DXM, its like ketamine but shitty
 
Oh well if he doesn't understand where dextromethorphan can truly take you then why bother indeed. But on another note, although I haven't had a chance to try K yet, from what I understand it's quite a bit different than DXM so that on its own takes away from the validity of his statement.

^ It's not that you don't understand DXM, it's that you don't understand that nobody gives a shit that you don't like it, yet you feel the need to post in every. single. thread. related to the subject and say the same thing over and over again.
 
to peacelovedope, thanks for the sites ill go look at them now, but i did do as much research as i could. i stayed up for hours at night reading all about it but i never found really good sites. Id use google cause im pretty much the only one around where i live that does this except for a couple people, but i really didnt have any clue on where to begin at all besides google. thanks for the sites though!
 
Also sorry for like 3 posts in a row, but id also really like to thank all those who are giving me more tips and imformation or sites about this in the posts. It does mean alot to me on knowing even more information on this stuff. Clearly this stuff is dangerous and being even more prepared helps. Thanks again anymore tips of information please feel free to post

You seem to be missing the point entirely. Just because something is available in over the counter cough remedies doesn't make it any less of a legitimate tool for expansion of consciousness than any other entheogen. Yes, ingesting large amounts of cough medicine is not the ideal why to go about a DXM experience, but that is the form it is most easily obtained in so it does happen that way fairly often.

I also have access to "real" psyches as you put it, and I continue to use DXM because I enjoy it for its own unique effect. My first fourth plateau DXM experience ranks right up there with my DMT breakthrough because they together, in their own ways, shattered my sense of self and showed me that I am, in fact, a part of this beautiful continuum we perceive as existence, just a tiny part of everything else. The ego that we as individuals cling on to as if that one perspective is all that really exists, when compared to everything else that is really out there, is so insignificant that it is essentially nothing.

Look, people react differently to different substances so it really doesn't concern me that you don't enjoy DXM. That's perfectly alright. All I'm asking is that you try and extend a little respect and understanding to the way people like myself and MrGrunge view it. However, nothing I say is going to change the way you think so I guess if you think DXM is still just "fucking cough medicine" after reading this then why don't you tell TheMerryPrankster that nitrous oxide is "shitty" and that it's just "fucking whipped cream propellant". See how people react to that.
 
Coricidin Cough & Cold contains 16mg of DXM per pill. There's also guafinesin and an antihistamine, but I don't remember the dosages for those, but I believe it was somewhere around 4 mg & 12 mg, respectively. It's been years since I've taken it though, so I can't remember. I took it almost every day the last half of my sophomore year... I guess DXM is indeed the drug to do for 15 year olds haha... but I do know for a fact that Triple C is 16mg of DXM, unless the dosage was changed after it was taken off the OTC shelves for a while.

Junior year, however, is when I started actually getting smart about my drug use and researching the shit out of things I was taking. And that's when I learned DXM was what got you high, and I started scouring the stores for something with a stronger dosage and less active ingredients. I stumbled across some generic brand one day that was 30 mg DXM, with DXM being the only active ingredient. I can't remember what it was called, just that they were red, oval-shaped, rather large soft-gel capsules. And that it wasn't as easy to down two or three of them at a time as it was with Triple C. But the high felt much better, cleaner, and more enjoyable all around.
I'm sure it's off the shelves now after the big DXM scandal in the states a few years back, but hey... Coricidin is back on the shelves in certain stores, so it wouldn't surprise me if there was something similar to what I found. So that's what I tend to suggest to people who are using Triple C to get high - go to the store, look through ALL of the cough supressants, and find a medication that contains pure DXM and NO other active ingredients if you can. Much safer. Just DON'T mix that shit with anti-depressants!!
 
those are robitussin gels burtonchic
they're still around, and very cheap and they dont card for it, since most of the CCC kids are underage.
i've never seen CCC not behind the pharmacy counter, thye dont keep it on the shelves...
 
To xburtonchic, i usually get the cvs brand that says the same thing coricidin cough and cold. thier like a dollar cheeper then regular boxes. also they contained 30 mgs along with the other active ingrediant, ahh what was that again >,< uh i dont remember.

On another note, since i started this thread id like to say i learned much and obtained plenty of info. I in no intentions meant to call myself a veteran i just meant the trip was for a veteran. First Thread made, didnt know. But now when i do get the money everynow and then i just buy which box or bottle which has the most dxm and no active ingrediants

You're probably right, I honestly don't remember anything about it except it came in a green or blue box or something, idk. One of those colors haha. Triple C was definitely 100% OTC at one point; that's how I got it back in my high school days. Then people started dying and shit, and it was put strictly behind the counter... some places even made you sign off each time you picked it up. But lately I've been seeing them OTC again in certain places. I'm pretty sure the bigger, corporate drugstores still keep it locked up in the pharmacy... I looked for it last time I was at Rite Aid just to see, and all of the other Coricidin brands were there except for Cough & Cold. But I've seen it at the gas station/liquor/food/drugstore by my house. I swear I could spot that white and purple box anywhere, ew. It makes me feel nauseous just thinking about those little red pills. I couldn't drink Diet Coke for the longest time because it would remind me of CCC, that's all I ever took it with. That and cheese fries, but how does one ever get sick of cheese fries? haha

I was a senior at 16...but I had 2.5 credits before I got into high school, got 2 extra credits my freshman year, got 3 extra credits my sophomore/junior year (it was the same school year), and took 1.5 extra credits my senior year (which was fall semester and the first half of spring semester). I was 17 when I finished, and technically graduated on march 10, instead of june 5, 2009, which is when I walked lol...

And no, I was going to a normal public high school. I worked my ass off to get out of high school lmao. I had 5 math classes under my belt by the end of my sophomore year. I took algebra I my 8th grade year, geometry and algebra II my freshman year, and trig/stat and pre-cal my sophomore/junior year. It's possible. There's also those that have really late birthdays.

Anyone can graduate at anytime as long as you get all the right credits. It's all a numbers game and you gotta make sure you get the right ones...
