Cool Dad orCrazy dad ?

Stupid Dad.
He has a responsibility to his kids to inform them of the dangers of the drug life. Not dive blindly alongside his kids into something that he more than likely doesn't have a a lot of knowledge on.
/soapbox

Agreed, stupid dad.
First, the kids that he was bringing along were 13 and 15.
Maybe if the kid is 20 or something and they both want to go out ... that is different. But bringing along the little kids is just WRONG.
If I have kids ... I wouldn't mind if they used drugs in moderation ... but I want them to wait until they are old enough (same age as alcohol). That being said, I'd avoid partying with them too because that's just weird.
I really wouldn't have a problem if it was the dad and his 20 year old child. I hope the dad would be informing his child of safe drug use and testing pills and everything.
The real scare is with the young kids.

I watched this video a few weeks ago and it really made me mad. Giving MDMA to a 13 year old kid is so irresponsible and he deserves to lose his kids forever. When the kid grows up he is either going to be really fucked up and realize later on how bad of a parent he had, or just realize it from the beginning. God I could go on forever about how fucked up that movie was but I just don't feel like it.

I've heard mention of this documentary on BL before, but I just decided to watch it today. I couldn't watch very long. I'm all about drug use (use not abuse and what not), but 13 and 15 are far too young to start doing any drug. Does it happen? Sure. The body and mind are not fully developed at that point though, and ecstasy is certainly a drug that demands a level of respect that I don't believe someone that young is capable of.

This has been talked about before - Link here

I think its called 'Small Town Ecstasy' - there's a very informative documentary called Ecstasy Rising that is well worth a watch.

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4
Part 5

This video usually sparks the debate about using MDMA with your parents / children - So how would you feel going to an event / rolling with your parents or children. I've been to a lot of events and met up with people who are out (and using) with their parents/kids and I think its great that they can be open and understanding with each other.

That is so fucked up, he needs to lose those kids forever.

At that age the brain is nowhere near fully developed. In addition, the parent-child power dynamic is being completely abused.

Fuck that guy.

Yea i think most of us have seen that video, the dad is a complete e-tard. Sure it may bring the family closer in the short term but it is such a horrible thing to do, especially with a drug like MDMA. I mean i might be able to understand letting his kid try weed once but ecstasy is just outrageous. I have my money on that kid growing up needing SSRI's and benzos to function.

Clearly the dad is an idiot. Also, to me he seems to come across as ermm... how shall I put this... 'cognitively impaired'.

Wow... That guy is retarded. I agree, its fine for his older sons (but, also weird) but as for the 15 and 13 year old, its just stupid. I would never party with my parents regardless what age I was lol
