Cooking Morphine ABG 60s

Just curious, I cook down the 60 mg ABG morphine's and I've noticed that hours after I've finished if I don't clean the spoon, little rust colored spots start to form in various spots. I use a little salt to keep the solution from jelling up. I'm just curious what causes this and If I wanted to do a rinse afterwards is it safe after whatever chemical reaction caused this?

Do not cook pills. That lets so much nasty shit get into your body.
